I was so excited when I opened my mailbox and saw a Voxbox waiting for me. I was even more excited when I opened the box and saw four….FOUR…full size Estee products! I love Estee!!!

First Impressions: I loved the packaging!!! So clean and professional looking. I loved the white and blue.

The Products

Beam Team Hydrate + Glow

What it is:This is a double-double decker with an illuminating hydrating lotion in the tube and a touch-on shimmer concentrate in the flip cap.

Thoughts: I liked the feel of this lotion. It went on smoothly without feeling greasy and gave my skin an all over glow. It looked nice under my makeup and didn’t irritate my skin. The flip cap shimmer is really pretty and I used it as a highlighter of sorts and really liked it. I wish it was a little easier to apply. I ended up using a brush to apply because trying to rub the cap on my face wasn’t happening. Two in ones are perfect for traveling or touching up on the go!

The Barest Lip Color in 06 Nude Scene

What it is:A lipstick/balm hybrid with muru muru butter and real flower petal waxes.

Thoughts: I loved the color of this!!! It is a dark nude and will be perfect for the fall and winter for me. I love that you can swipe on a quick layer for a sheer coverage or you can really layer it to get it whatever color you want. The formula was smooth and creamy without being sticky or drying. An all around win in a lipstick for me!

Pore Vanishing Stick

What it is: Glide-on stick to blue the look of pores and minimize shine and oil.

Thoughts: I used this around my nose and cheeks and went on nice and smooth. While I don’t feel like it got rid of all my pores, it certainly made my skin look better. Also, my makeup applied very nicely over it. You can wear this under or over makeup.

Flash Illuminator in 04 Day Light

What it is:A high-impact highlight cream that instantly illuminates skin while proving skin care ingredients like hyaluronic acid.

Thoughts: Unfortunately, this color is way way way too dark for me!!! This comes in five different shades and I wished they would have sent me the lightest one so I could have tested it out appropriately. What I can tell you just from sampling it on my hand is that the color is gorgeous and it gives you a nice glow without looking too done. This would be perfect as a highlight, blush or for strobing.

Overall I loved this line from Estee and I will certainly be checking out more of the products! Have you heard of these or tried them?

From time to time I like to switch up my skin care routine. Either what I am using quits working for me, I get a sample of something I like better, or I just want to try something new. I had been having a lot of issues over the last year. I knew I needed to go mostly natural.

So this is my current skin care routine! 

In the mornings I use Angels on Bare Skin from Lush, followed by now argan oil under my eyes and any dry spots I may have and Imperials Facial Moisturizer from Lush.

In the evenings I remove my eye make up with Up and Up eye make up remover from Target followed by Ultrabland from Lush to cleanse and remove my make up. I follow that up with the now argan oil. Sometimes if I am really lazy and don’t feel like doing anything, I will at least take my make up off with a face wipe. My favorite are the Pacifica Coconut wipes that you can get at Target.

There are maybe 1 or 2 days a week where I will use the Foreo day or night cleanser with the Foreo for an exfoliation in place of the cleansers and follow up with the Imperials moisturizer. Also, I make my own lip scrub using coconut oil and sugar and do that at least 1 to 2 days per week as well.

Hair is something that I have always struggled with. When you have super thin hair, there aren’t many products out there that you can use without weighing it down and looking greasy. When my hair gets to a certain length, it starts looking stringy and damaged and it always makes me so sad.

I started using L’Oreal Advanced HairCare Extraordinary Oil last month, and I have got to say I am impressed!!! Normally I stay away from anything that has oil in the name given my hair type. So I might have been a little skeptical when I first got it. I cracked open the lid and smelled it, as I do everything, and man oh man this stuff smells amazing!!! I couldn’t wait to try it.

I used all three products; the shampoo, conditioner and serum for about a month and I am loving the results! My hair looks less damaged and has a shine to it without looking greasy or weighed down. Plus I love getting whiffs of my hair throughout the day because it smells wonderful!

I received the products the day I got my hair cut, so you will have to look past the obvious length and color differences and look at the healthiness of my hair!

This line has Coconut, Argan, Chamomile, Amla, Soja, and Sunflower oil complex. I have to say that my hair was so soft after just one use. After using it for a few weeks, I noticed a huge difference in the softness and shine. My hair doesn’t look as dull as it did without the product. I only put the serum towards the tips of my hair, not the top. I have volume and it doesn’t look weighed down.
