Weekend Shenanigans

Hello, Thanksgiving Week!!! What??? Still in disbelief about it. This month is just going way too fast, just like the past weekend. I have no clue how it is Monday morning already, but let’s get to it. Or try to, because I honestly don’t even remember Friday night. We stayed in and I guess I watched TV? Can’t remember!

Saturday we ended up helping a friend with something for a few hours, and then came home and I cleaned the house and started on the laundry. Exciting things, right? We watched part of the Alabama game with a friend of Chris’s but then came back home because I wasn’t feeling so great. Another could this be happening evening that turned in to a great deal of pain but no baby. Don’t know what it is with Saturdays? I guess she wants to come to the party too.

Yesterday morning I got up and hung everything on the walls in the nursery. I am so happy with how it turned out!!! I wanted to do a nursery reveal this week, but Chris hasn’t gotten around to hanging the curtains yet. Soon, hopefully. After that, I headed over to the outlets to look for some pajamas to wear to the hospital. Couldn’t find anything I liked, but I did get these super cute clothes at Gap for baby girl!! They seriously have the cutest stuff there and I want to go back and get more!!! Those jeans??? I die!!!

I went to TJ Maxx and got a really cute side table to go next to the glider in her room too. Literally everything is done in there now except the curtains!

I then got our grocery shopping done, came home and meal prepped and made some chicken fettuccine alfredo for dinner while we caught up on a few of our shows. And just like that the weekend was over. I never got around to getting our Christmas stuff up. Again. I am so disappointed, but hopefully I can do that on Thursday morning or something. I really want it up before baby gets here or it will never get done.  I just didn’t have the energy after all the hanging things in the room and running around this weekend.

Someone has been spending a lot of time napping in the blanket basket lately. I think he gets tired of getting kicked off my chair so I can get up and go to the restroom. Such a rough life. The bottom left picture cracks me up because he was glaring at me from the basket for like 10 minutes.

basket-macLinking up with Biana. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

You guys are having so much fun that she’s like “hey, wait for me!” Not much longer now! I have bought my niece the cutest stuff (especially for the holidays) over the years! Love their Christmas pjs! I also can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving week. How is that possible?

i LOVE baby Z’s closet! you’re 100% right — every girl needs an organized closet 🙂

i’m not allowed to put up decorations yet; M won’t let us until Dec 1 and he purposely put everything up high on the shelf so I can’t reach it #shortgirlproblems #howrude #rage

I’m actually jealous of the energy you have one the weekends- especially with you being so pregnant, haha! You got so much done in the nursery and with food prep. That’s amazing! Don’t get too down on yourself for the Christmas decorations. It’s more fun when there’s no pressure to put them up so relax, lady. You’ll get it done 😉 I can’t wait to see a nursery tour! That closet pic on IG is so swoon-worthy!
Mac is the cutest little angry muppet ever, hahaha. That’s all I can think of with that bottom pic!

I so laughed at the “fat pants” – I need that especially being on vacation. I’ve sat here at home & eat chips all morning 🙂 THE LIFE!!!
If you’re getting looks now from the doggie, I wonder what its going to be like after the baby is here 😉 Transition time.

I cannot wait to see the nursery! I bet it’s adorable!

She must totally want to party with you as well & if she cannot be on the outside to enjoy it, you’re not gonna enjoy it either. Sassy lil lady that you already have on your hands. Tee hee!

Look at those outfits! So cute! I love her closet! It’s so adorable. Can’t wait to see the rest, I’m sure it is beautiful.

Hooray for getting the nursery all done, but tell Chris to hang up those curtains! I think that your little girl just really wants to watch some Alabama football, which is why she’s always acting like she’s coming on Saturdays! Those clothes are seriously so cute that you picked up this weekend, but aren’t little girls clothes always the cutest!

So glad you were able to get so much done with the nursery! That must feel like a big relief. She just can’t figure out if she’s ready yet or nice and cozy. I’m sorry to hear you are having some pain. Loving those outfits you found for her. Baby gap gets me every time. Can’t wait to see the rest of her room! Beautifully Candid

lol to your pissed off pup- ha! Poor thing. I’m sure he’ll be glaring more and more as you get closer to baby time. How fun to get everything so set up for the baby! I bet that feels so nice. How very EXCITING!

Ooh yes, Alfredo is my all time favorite meal. Looks yummy!

Omg, those teeny tiny clothes – so cute. Baby jeans are the funniest. Overalls are a riot too. Does she have any yet?

Mac… you kill me! Too funny.

Such cute little outfits for the princess! Sounds like the nursery is coming along but I kid you not, my husband will procrastinate his “duties” until I literally give him a deadline. LOL

My mom saw that saying on Instagram or somewhere, and that’s all she talks about! Get your fat pants ready! She wants to have shirts made. Or a pillow. You know, because that makes sense, lol. Love the weekend update. I’m so excited for your little turkey to make her appearance when she’s good and ready.

Still hanging in there! Woot! Those baby girl clothes . . . so stinking cute. My husband bought my son his first pair of jeans from Baby Gap as a Christmas present and I still have them – I die of cute little baby butts in jeans! That side table – it would be PERFECT in my new family room – I want it but don’t want to let myself down when I go to TJ and it’s not there – LOL! Mac – he’s so freaking adorable!! Good luck on the decorations – I say cut it back because you won’t feel like putting it away either!!!

Love that little side table and the little clothes are so cute! You have been so busy, so it totally makes sense that you’re running out of time to accomplish everything you want before the weekend is over.

Baby jeans are the absolute cutest things in the world. I love them!! And please give me all the chicken alfredo — I have been having some massive pasta cravings lately. I guess I’m craving everything with carbs in it — you know like all the food? Never mind — I’m pretty sure I’m just hungry. 🙂
