–Reading through all  your comments yesterday really made me happy that I shared my current struggles. I feel like so many of you shared similar thoughts, that you have fallen off a little and need to get back on track now. I think the biggest success I have had on my healthy journey has been to realize that just because I ate bad this morning or this week or this month, doesn’t determine what my next meal decision should be. It is never too early or late to make the right choice! #healthyforlife

–When I hear someone pronounce a city wrong in a state where I used to reside, I feel the immediate need to correct them. #canthelpit #sounditout

–Do  you ever look at Pinterest and get super inspired to go clean out your closet, organize your bathroom cabinets or construct a DIY project. And you are all fired up and passionate about it, have a plan to execute. Then you get  home and you are like meh, Netflix! Oh, me neither. #procrastination

–My sister sent me a picture of a box of pumpkin cheesecake cookies that I just “have to go get” yesterday. I am still thinking about them and cursing her. #struggleisreal #cookiemonster

–I am like a freaking kid at Christmas when the Target toy catalog comes in the mail!!! Not only are there amazing coupons, but I just love flipping through the glossy pages thinking back to when I was little and circling all the things I wanted Santa to bring me. This year there is a $10 off $100 coupon! #buyallthethings

–I need all of you to buy all the shit at the Kate Spade Surprise Sale so that I can’t even think about it, ok? Damn those sales! They come out of nowhere with their amazing deals. #shopaholic

Haha, Netflix what??? Also, I love that dog attacking the lettuce — ugh, I want a jack brown’s so bad. HAHA, and I ALWAYS listen to butt dials trying to catch some shit! That is too funny!

That damn Kate Spade sale! Every time I open up my email it’s screaming at me. How am I supposed to get through it without giving in?! I want all the things!!! And I also get really happy from toy catalogs and remember circling the things I wanted for Christmas too! Can we just go back to that and then have things magically appear Christmas morning? Because in that case I’ll take a Target, Pottery Barn, Anthro and Bed Bath & Beyond catalog please! Haha.

I’m avoiding that KS surprise sale with all my willpower. LOL @ hate at first site 🙂

  • Reply Tracy October 28, 2015 at 12:21 pm

Oooh I need to know more about this mispronounced city. Mostly because I like laughing at people who can’t pronounce things right, but also a little bit so I can make sure I’m not doing it wrong too.
The cleaning/organization thing is the story of my life! I get so much done in my head during the day but that rarely ever translates to actually getting stuff done in real life haha.

  • Reply Jana @ Jana Says October 28, 2015 at 12:42 pm

That last one. I didn’t buy any Reese’s for Halloween this year simply because they wouldn’t make it to Halloween. #fatgirlproblems

Whenever I hear anyone pronounce anything wrong, I feel the need to correct them. I have to actively restrain myself.

  • Reply Mattie October 28, 2015 at 12:47 pm

I am so with you on the procrastination. I should really be packing/going through stuff more for the move, but I’m not. Sitting around is more appealing. Also darn that Kate Spade sale! I have more money in my account than usual because rent at our current place is pro-rated and I didn’t shop this month…but then I’m like, “Oh yeah, there’s still rent at the new place and a ton of deposits to pay.” So I forced myself to not even look so I wouldn’t be tempted!

i was looking for some mint chocolate chips for the cookies i was making for kayla’s class and i saw a bag of reese mini choco chips…..i nearly came close to buying them just to shovel them in my face but no! FOOD DOES NOT CONTROL ME!! i quickly ran away from that section LOL.

  • Reply Alyssa @ Alyssa with an A October 28, 2015 at 2:27 pm

Omg that corgi and lettuce gif… literally me haha. And I totally feel you on the Pin-spiration… if only it lasted for more than 5 minutes– my house would be a lot more organized!

  • Reply Jessica October 28, 2015 at 2:29 pm

Ahh I used to love looking through the toy catalogs at my grandparents’ house when I was little! I miss that!!

  • Reply Biana @ Blovedboston October 28, 2015 at 2:48 pm

Oh my gosh I always have so many lofty goals for my nights but ya TV usually wins out LOL! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston

  • Reply Erin LFF October 28, 2015 at 3:06 pm

That pinterest motivation/lack thereof is the story of my life. At the office I have all these lofty goals and to-do lists but seriously.. by the time I fight my way home through traffic and get some food, I’m like okay DONE with this day lol!

  • Reply Jackie October 28, 2015 at 3:24 pm

haha. The one fat bitch meme killed me. That’s so me.

  • Reply kristen October 28, 2015 at 3:57 pm

hahaha why does that dog hate lettuce so much?
seriously, i wish i would learn that lesson though. if i eat bad in the morning, it’s so hard for me to move on and eat better for the rest of the day, normally i’m like well, might as well eat all the shit now.

  • Reply Amanda October 28, 2015 at 8:21 pm

Dude. The Pinterest/Netflix confession… STORY OF MY LIFE! lmao

  • Reply Lindsay Latimer October 28, 2015 at 9:52 pm

There was a meteorologist who always pronounced the name of my hometown incorrectly- once there was a tornado warning and she kept telling my town to take cover… but she totally fucked up the pronunciation! I was like, um, no one will know who you’re talking about! rant over. 🙂 I do that on Pinterest daily. And our closets are still awful and the house is still dirty. Netflix wins every day. I got the Target catalog, too, and was so pumped! I felt like a kid again!

  • Reply October 29, 2015 at 6:30 am

the struggle is real not wanting to buy all the things! when i was little the sears wishbook catalog would come out, and my sis and i would spend hours choosing what we wanted. still a kid!!

  • Reply Kelli October 29, 2015 at 9:10 am

I’m the worst for being motivated to clean right before bed, coming up with a plan of action for the next day, and then deciding the next day I’m not in the mood anymore.

  • Reply Teh Megan October 29, 2015 at 10:19 am

See this is why I don’t pin anything besides quotes and shit that makes me laugh and sometimes food. I don’t want to even begin to feel motivated. lol

  • Reply Dani October 29, 2015 at 1:26 pm

Hahaha, I thought I was the only one who listens to butt dials for that reason! And damn Pinterest. I always pin recipes with the intention of actually making them, and then realize I’m missing ingredients, but too lazy/late to shop, and hey Netflix! I gave up pinning the crafts. My inner crafter seems to have died recently, not that I was that great at it before, either!

  • Reply Joey October 30, 2015 at 6:26 am

I have such a long list of things that need to get cleared out (closet, vanity, dresser, etc) and I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I’m SO exhausted by time I get home. The struggle is real, friend.

  • Reply Kerry November 1, 2015 at 10:21 am

I laugh so hard when people try to sound out Massachusetts cities. It is never what they think! That people really likes salad! Haha!
