You guys!!! I checked the weather this morning and I am really really hoping that it is true!!! They say it will drop in to the 70’s a few days this week. The 70’s!! After about three months straight of nothing but 90’s + I think I am going to have to pull out a jacket or something!
This weekend I….
–Ran through the Jimmy Johns drive thru on Friday at lunch and then walked around Babies R Us because that is my life right now. I loved every second of it. My order is always the #12 Beach Club with no tomato or mayo, add mustard and a side of salt & vinegar chips. I never stray. This sandwich has avocado on it…why would I order anything else???
–Friday night, Chris and I stopped by his parents house for a few minutes then decided to have an impromptu date night at Crazy Horse in Argo on the way home. Crazy Horse is legit one of my favorite restaurants and it is so close to us! I wasn’t wanting a huge steak or anything that late, so I ordered the Crazy Fries and O.M.G. just look at these things…
They were having a special dinner that evening with The Chateau, a 16 ounce filet. Chris couldn’t resist. That thing looked so amazing and if he wouldn’t have ordered it rare…I might have stolen a few bites. No rare meat when you have a baby on board! I have never seen such a big filet before! Chris ended up bringing like half of it home.
We stayed out late guys!!! We didn’t leave Crazy Horse until 11:30pm!!! Crazy talk for this old lady these days, let me tell you! We have become chatty with the owner and some of the staff there though and we were watching football and having a good chat so it didn’t seem as late as it really was. When we got home, I ended up staying up and watching a few episodes of House Hunters and didn’t go to bed until 1:30am. Don’t worry, I was still up bright and early a few hours later. Baby girl never lets me sleep in.
–We stayed in Saturday and watched football alllll day long! I was super pleased with the Alabama game. Ashamed of how Georgia played Ole Miss and holy cow did you see the end of the Auburn game?!?!? Them and their one second man. I could hear my Auburn friends screaming all the way over here. I had gone to Publix that morning to pick up food for the day and when I was walking to the register, there was a sweet old lady handing out ice cream samples. She saw me and my pregnant self waddling towards her and stopped me with a cup of it and I just had to get it. It was so good! Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream!!!! I know it sounds weird, but trusssst me. SO GOOD!
–This weekend we got a lot of stuff done. I put the stroller and car seat together, cleaned out the cabinets and drawers in the master bathroom and got rid of a good deal of things. Moved all the towels from the hall linen closet to the master bathroom to make room for baby items! Discarded six more items out of my closet, read through five magazines, and cleaned up random areas of the house. We also went to Home Depot, Best Buy and the grocery store yesterday. I got the glitter Kate Spade case for my new Iphone and I am obsessed. The glitter moves around!!!!!!!!!
–We finished watching all of One Tree Hill, started This Is Us (love) and watched all our shows that came back last week. And it basically looked like this…

staying in all saturday is wonderful! i stayed in most of yesterday because i had to get massive amounts of errands done and once that was over (morning), i spent all afternoon at home doing NOTHING. it was glorious.

Lord how did you stay out that late?! Lol! I was in bed by 11:00 both nights. I always get the veggie sandwich from Jimmy Johns and I never stray! It’s one of my favorite places for lunch. The SEC this weekend was nuts! You guys are going to MURDER us this weekend. Like even your third string players. Haha! Sorry for writing a novel but happy Monday!

Oh you a party girl, staying out so late. haha I too was out late on Saturday night and paid for it dearly on Sunday. haha..I love staying home. I haven’t had Jimmy John’s before but just realized they opened one up near my office. I had no idea what it was, will need to check it out one of these days. Happy Monday!

Love the phone cover! Your weekend sounds much more productive than mine! (I had to write about LAST weekend, lol!) I/we did manage to complete TEN HOURS of Longmire on Netflix. That’s a talent, right?

I don’t know how you stayed up until 1:30! I was falling asleep at like 9:00 on Saturday lol! And yes to that crazy Auburn and LSU game! We were yelling at the TV and probably would have been more interested if we weren’t anxiously waiting for them to start playing the Aggie game. We still have a lot of shows to get caught up on, but we watched the pilot of This Is Us, and it was so good! It reminds me a lot of Parenthood. I hope that your week is off to a good start!
Oh girl, 11:30 is late for me too! Jerry always teases me because I won’t even start a movie at home if it’s after 8:00! I don’t know when I became such an old lady! Ha!
Sounds like you’re a nesting mama now! I was never one for cleaning and organizing until I got pregnant and started nesting. It never stopped and I’m still going now! It turned me into such a neat freak.

I just got a Jimmy John’s close to work last year- they now know my number and order by heart! *inset see no evil emoji* And YES to pumpkin pie ice cream- I just got my first taste of the season last night and am already craving more. I forgot how much I missed it! Your fries looks like a loaded potato exploded on top- in the most delicious way lol! Sounds like a fun and busy weekend!
I wore a HOODIE on Friday night. Granted, I was sitting in the AC and was sporting a wet bra and wet socks/shoes, but principle. The single most exciting thing about hockey season starting is an excuse to wear my hoodies again. It’s not really cold enough to wear them, but I totally agree with you that after months and months of living on the sun, the slight chill is going to be downright cold to me. I used to feel pride at my ability to acclimate, but Charleston has completely ruined me. I’M RUINED!

I cannot wait until it hits the 70s! I’m so excited about boots and sweaters and leggings!! Those bacon ranch fries — gimme please. Also, Jimmy Johns is just the best, but I like the 1000 calorie sandwich, so I try to stay away from there as much as possible. 🙂 Also, I MAY have gone out to buy that ice cream just because you told me to.
Oh, finally! Someone who’s not hating on pumpkin! Seems everyone on my Facebook feed these days is complaining about pumpkin, but I love the stuff.

That phone case is so cute! That ice cream sounds yum!! I tried the apple pie ice cream at DQ and that is also super delicious. Those fries look delicious, yas! Outback has some delicious loaded fries too. Zac loves to order those when we go to Outback, but I want the onion ring, so we have a deliemma when it comes to ordering delicious appetizers. Have you had a baby shower yet?

I think I really need to try some Jimmy John’s. I usually eat Wawa when I get a sub, which is also delicious. Pumpkin pie ice cream sounds amazing. Woohoo stroller/car seat! I am still on and off cleaning things up, but mostly ran out of things to get rid of or organize. It’s totally fine because I’m pooped now :).
LOL I felt the same way about temps finally dropping. Thank goodness for cooler weather! Those fries look A-mazing! Whenever I go to Subway I always get the exact same sandwich too…and if I go to any other sandwich/sub place I get whatever is closes to my sub order. I like what I like.
