Confessions

–Do you ever have those things that you keep meaning to do, and yet they never get done? I have noticed an occurrence of the same shit on my to-do list for weeks that I keep skipping over. Then, when I take an assessment of what needed to be done….I get really angry at myself for skipping over it! Again. #procrastination

–My current self gets really angry at last night’s self when she doesn’t stop to get gas on the way home. #lazybitch

–I have had the same thing for lunch three weeks in a row. In a rut, much? #lunchrut

–I used to be really good about getting a cup or two of green tea in every day. I tend to go through phases of not liking certain foods for awhile, and green tea got the boot for the last two months. My co-worker is on a kick and made us all a cup of this Earl Grey Green tea yesterday and I might be hooked again! It was so delicious! And way better than plain green! #antioxidants

–The other day I was getting ready for work and I tried on about 10 different tops before deciding on something that I had worn the previous week. I would like to say that my last purge worked great, but clearly not. Why should anyone have 10 tops in their closet that they don’t wear? And there are more where that came from. Time to buckle down and really learn to let go of more. #clotheshoarder

HAHAHAHAH the gas situation. SAME HERE. i look at the tank and see like, 1/4 left and i think….eh, i’ll just get it tomorrow morning as i casually drive home. then for some reason in the morning (usually kayla), i’m in a hurry, get in the car, see 1/4 tank and rage out. WHY DIDN’T I JUST GET IT LAST NIGHT?!? happens every time #ineverlearn

Oh man, yes I have those things on my to-do list too! Usually it’s because the more fun things (or the things that I HAVE to get done, no choice) take precedence over all of the things that have been on the list for months. There should totally be a day between Saturday and Sunday! Weekends are waaay too short!

I often wish for a sarcasm font! I needed gas on the way to work yesterday and I put it off ALL day. Finally, I was on FUMES while running the kids to an activity and finally just stopped. I really need to get better about that haha!

I do the same thing with gas, ugh! But last week I was a good girl, haha.

Yeah, the procrastination struggle is real…somehow, doing my taxes has still not budged off my to-do list! Actually, I’ve also been procrastinating that closet purge because I know I share those same hoarder tendencies, haha.

The sock divorce rate is incredibly high! Where are all their mates going?! I screw myself over with the gas thing all the time. And then I hate myself in the morning when I’m running late already and the gas light comes on.

I’ve had book a hotel for this wedding we have on my to-do list for literally 3 weeks…it still hasn’t gotten done!! I feel your pain girl lol! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston

So last week I was lazy as F and didn’t stop for gas on the way home. Sure enough, I was getting it at 12:45 a.m. because I had to take Gus to the emergency vet and there was none in the car…and I didn’t remember it until I was already on my way or I would’ve taken MFD’s car. BALLS

    SAY NO TO FAKE CHEESE!

  • Reply Amanda Elizabeth March 25, 2015 at 10:35 am

Why I always think I’ll just get gas on the way to work is beyond me. Then of course I am late in the morning and then add having to stop for gas on top of it. Always leads to added aggravation right???

  • Reply Laura @ Life with Lolo March 25, 2015 at 10:52 am

I am the master at procrastination and it is turning into a huge issue. I just like to do the easy stuff first, what can I say? And I also always leave getting gas till the morning – the struggle is real!

I kinda forget that my gas take exists until the gas light comes on and then I have to schedule a time to get gas because I like to go to certain places. I think Mr. Scrooge has started to choose to take Yurtle places because it means he doesn’t have to use his gas… #boysarestupid

There’s a guy at work who brings in an ENTIRE THERMOS of green tea and drinks it all day long. It’s a crazy amount of tea.

I would probably go crazy if I ate the same thing for 3 weeks in a row unless it was super delicious, but probably even then.

I get SO mad at myself for not getting gas. Yet I continue to not stop. It’s a vicious cycle.

Oh socks, so thankful I don’t have to think much about them right now. That fake ecard is awesome! I love purging, but it seems there’s always something to get rid of. it never stops!

  • Reply kristen March 25, 2015 at 11:21 am

i am always way too lazy to stop and get gas at night time, i always regret it in the morning! i’m in a mega lunch rut too, boo!

  • Reply alyssa March 25, 2015 at 11:55 am

Earl Grey green tea is so good! Definitely has a leg up from plain green tea and is still good for you. yum!

Oh there are still tops in my closet that I can’t bare to throw away. They basically have to be on their last thread for me to part with them. Maybe with my move next week I’ll go through all of them… #probablynot

I’m SO lazy and never get gas on the way home. And it always makes for a hectic morning… you’d think I’d learn but NOPE!

  • Reply Deborah March 25, 2015 at 12:34 pm

HATE HATE HATE getting gas. It’s the worst thing next to folding laundry. Oh and washing dishes. lol

  • Reply ADRIENNE March 25, 2015 at 1:05 pm

Well, I loathe getting gas at any time. I wish there was a mobile gas fill up service that came to my office.

You definitely need to seek out a career in comedy writing. You would have been great to write for Rules of Engagement. That was my favorite show….. FULL of sarcasm and insults. LOL!

  • Reply Jessi March 25, 2015 at 1:25 pm

Lunch ruts are okay as long as your eats are healthy and you like them! Also, you just made me go get some green tea from the break room. Thanks for that!

I have 22 tshirts… and I will only wear 3 or 4 of them. But, when I go on my “closet/dresser cleaning binges” – I totally cannot bear to rid myself of ANY of these t-shirts. I convince myself I’ll use them as t-shirts for pajama bottoms, that when summer comes I will need them. I had the same problem with Tank tops – but, I paired all of those down to 5 or 6. And I use them regularly as layering. With that said, I’ll purge my 22 if you purge your 10. Deal?

The way you feel about your green tea hiatus, is the way I felt about water recently. I used to be able to down 80 ounces a day… and then when I went all dark placey… I drank 25 ounces if I was lucky – coffee and soda (I know the devil I say) – but, now, this week, I have drank at least 60 ounces every day. Ebb and Flow… our bodies and minds are totally weird.

🙂 Happy Wednesday and NO I’m not telling you what the bloggy email was about. Wait and see!!! *sticks tongue out*

I do that same thing every morning and I have a HUGE amount of clothes, even though I purge every few months. I just can’t help myself.
