What does this mean?!?!

My only hope for this post is that you read the title like the dude from double rainbow!!

If you have no clue what I am talking about, pull yourself out from under that rock and go watch it on YouTube this instant! Shame on you!

Have you ever had a weird or random dream, and you wondered what it meant? It isn’t often that I actually know that I had a dream or remember it when I wake up…but when I do it is weird. This was all triggered this weekend by the dream I had about a spider. Terrifying, I know. I hate spiders!!!

So I happened to Google what it meant. According to the Huffington Post, this is what it means:

“As such, spiders are associated with manipulation. Depending on the rest of the dream, the spider may indicate that the dreamer is being manipulated or that the dreamer is the manipulator.”
According to dreammoods.com this is what it means:
To see a spider in your dream indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or perhaps you want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. The spider is also symbolic of feminine power or an overbearing mother figure in your life. Alternatively, a spider refers to a powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior.

So….I don’t think I am being manipulated? Maybe so…and someone is just really good at it! I do not have an overbearing mother at all. I guess it has to be one of the others.

Then I started thinking about some of the dreams that I have had lately. I have tornado dreams often, and one could assume that they are caused by the events that occurred on April 27, 2011, however…I have had them prior to that.

According to dreammoods.com
To see a tornado in your dream suggests that you are experiencing some extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Is there a situation or relationship in your life that may be potentially destructive?
To dream that you are in a tornado means that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. Your plans will be filled with much complications and you will be met with a series of disappointments.
To see several tornadoes in your dream represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.

I also looked at a few other sites, and the general consensus is that dreaming about tornadoes means that there is something in your life that you can not control. Interesting.

Do you ever have any dreams that you wondered what it meant? Do you ever have any reoccurring or lucid dreams? Dreams are a crazy thing. It amazes me what happens when your mind wanders in your sleep.

I wish I could tell my mind to stop dreaming about spiders and tornadoes, I am not OK with either of these things!!

I often look up my dreams on dreammoods.com! I don’t always take it 100% seriously, but it will make you think at times. I have had a couple of tornado dreams recently.

I have had this dream many times: I am taking classes at a college, and there is always a class that I forget to ever go to. Weeks pass and I suddenly remember that class.

I don’t really remember my dreams often, and if I do, I rarely look them up. My husband is always talking about his dreams.

Love this. I always have weird dreams! A lot of them are about my mouth not being able to pen or close, if it does then it really hurts!
