Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes Review

I received my Influenster Spring VoxBox, and I couldn’t be more excited!!! There was a Tastykake Kandy Bar in there, it was Reese’s flavored. OMG…do you know how much I love Reese’s???? Needless to say, I was super excited to try this out! Every once in awhile it is nice to have a “treat,” and this certainly hit the spot.
I always like to know about the company behind the product. The Tasty Baking Company, founded in 1914 and located in Philadelphia, Pa., is one of the country’s leading bakers of snack cakes, pies, cookies, and donuts. As a subsidiary of Flowers Foods, the company has bakery facilities in Philadelphia and Oxford, Pa. that offer more than 100 products under the Tastykake brand name. Celebrated for their freshness and quality ingredients, the Tastykake line includes such classics as Krimpets, Kandy Kakes, Juniors, and Kreamies. For more information on Tasty Baking Company, visit www.tastykake.com.

I have seen Tastykake products at Walmart and Target. You can get a family pack for $4.49, or a single serve for $1.69.

Can we talk about how cute they are?
I am getting ready to enjoy my Tastykake!
I managed to snag a picture of the wrapper before I dug in so you know what you are looking for! This is the only picture I took. Put Reese anything in front of me, and it will be gone quickly!
My opinion: I enjoyed the Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake. It had a great flavor to it, and it was a good size. I liked the texture of the coating on the outside, and it wasn’t sickening sweet or spongy like some other cake treats I have tried in the past. While I don’t treat myself to things like this often since I am trying to lose weight, I do feel that this is a great treat and I would certainly purchase these! I wouldn’t mind trying the other flavors they make…although it would be hard for me to pick anything other than Reese’s! They also have York and Hershey Smores kinds!
I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster.
