Confessions

–Last night Laura and I hosted our first Blogstorm meet up for the Magic City Bloggers. We had such a great group of people come out, so many great and informative conversations were had. Attending an event like that really rejuvenates my love for blogging and reminds me why I do it and why Laura and I work so hard to keep MCB going strong.

Magic_City_Bloggers

–When I go out on a “school night” that isn’t Thursday, it throws me off. Like how is today only Wednesday?

–Along the same lines, when my Friday lunch group changes the day to Thursday, that Friday is the longest Friday of all the Fridays in all of the world.

–When I go out on said school night, and then come home and stay up until 11:45 PM because I need to wind down and settle in…it does not make for a pretty wake up at 4:35 AM. I may or may not have cursed the sweet ladies of PopSugar Fitness this morning asking me to lift weights and lunge. NO YOU LUNGE RIGHT, BITCH!

It wasn’t my proudest moment.

–Not only can I not hide my facial expressions, but if I am angry, anxious, mad, or upset….my chest turns bright red and splotchy. Thinking about it turning red and splotchy for everyone to see gives me more anxiety.

–Yesterday I walked back to a room three times before I remembered what I needed.

–Have you ever had so many ideas that you get overwhelmed and not do any of them at all? Oh, me neither.

It was cool being able to FINALLY be at a meetup. Also, I don’t see how you get up that early to work out. I can’t do it.

Oh man! I’d love to have a blogging meet up with you! Damn geography for getting in the way of that! PS I have the same issue with my facial expressions. When I wad younger my cheeks would get super flushed when I was upset. It was awful.

I don’t know how you do any physical activity at 4:35 a.m. Really.

Hurrah for a blossoming blogger group! That is awesome.

  • Reply Julia February 11, 2015 at 10:13 am

That blogger meet-up looks like so much fun! I WILL go to one of those someday!

I’m totally impressed that despite being up late you still got up at 4:35 AM and did your workout. Mad props.

I totally wear my emotions on my face, I do not hide being upset well AT ALL.

  • Reply Marie February 11, 2015 at 10:23 am

So jealous of the blogger meet up, so much fun!! I could never get up at 4:35am. If I had to I would go to bed like right now.

  • Reply Laura February 11, 2015 at 10:24 am

Last night was so fun and that heart shaped donut was too cute! I’m glad we get to work together on MCB. 🙂

Also, why weren’t you swearing at the workouts before? 🙂

Hahahaha your ecards are great! And I almost died at “YOU LUNGE RIGHT BITCH!” Seriously that’s how I feel every time. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one that gets thrown off after going out on a school night. I’m exhausted the rest of the week when I do that.

  • Reply Morgan February 11, 2015 at 11:40 am

It sounds like yall had so much fun last night. I hate I couldn’t make it. I’ll definitely be there next time!

  • Reply meighan February 11, 2015 at 12:27 pm

OMG the group text thing, yessss! Just like, no. I’m so sad I missed the meet up. 🙁

  • Reply Kerry February 11, 2015 at 12:36 pm

How is it not Thursday???? The group text ecard is hilarious!

  • Reply Wendy@BlushandBarbells February 11, 2015 at 12:37 pm

How awesome that you had a bloggy meet up! I’ve been to a couple and loved them.
    Happy Humpday!

I have totally yelled at the PopSugar girls for trying to motivate me. NO. I’m dying you heffer. LEAVE ME THE EFF ALONE. I’d be afraid to go to a Charleston blogger meet up. I don’t think I’m Southern Belle enough with my lack of everything monogram, no plaid or flannel shirts, no boots that aren’t military issued, and no boyfriends that have ever been into hunting or wearing cowboy hats. I think I might be doing southern wrong. Shit.

Also, I’m also someone that you know EXACTLY how I feel based on my facial expression, even if you’ve just met me. I’m so obvious. I’ll never play poker ever.

did you really call the lady a bitch?! or was it a video? going out on school nights always throws me off.

  • Reply Brooks February 11, 2015 at 2:37 pm

I always feel so old when it takes me multiple trips to remember what the heck I needed.
Last night was SO much fun. I can’t wait for the next meet up.

  • Reply Jessi February 11, 2015 at 2:46 pm

My laundry is only workout clothes and pajamas too!! And the occasional coffee spill sweater. haha. Struggle.

  • Reply Pamela February 11, 2015 at 4:20 pm

So jealous of your blogger meet up! That sounds like a blast. I wish we lived closer so we could do a meet up sometime!!

These are your best ecards yet!!!

I consistently walk in and out of rooms and forget why. Lately, it’s been remembering if I locked my front door when I leave. #oldladyproblems

OMG, my brain is literally so full of ideas and then, when I finally have time to work on them, I’m all “oh, hey, let’s see what Jimmy Fallon posted on YouTube!” or “let’s check out Twitter for a few minutes” and then, 2349037 hours later, I can’t remember what I meant to do and my laptop battery is dead because god forbid I actually sit at my desk where the plug is.

What a fun blogging event! This morning I walked into my room this morning and totally couldn’t figure out why I went in there lol! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston

  • Reply Heather @ My Little HEA February 12, 2015 at 7:59 am

Happy Thursday erm Friday eve!! 4:35?! I can barely find the bathroom at that point and I get up at 5:30 but could NOT do workout then. I can’t hid my facial expressions. I’m a great CS rep on the phone but as soon as I hang up that phone it’s rage! OMG that 26 mile ecard bwahaha!

  • Reply Kay R. February 12, 2015 at 9:37 am

Going out mid week definitely is a mind warp. And I always walk into a room and say what the hell did I come for…. and then go back and suddenly remember!

  • Reply chelsea jacobs February 12, 2015 at 11:12 am

The book club one made me laugh!

  • Reply Tracy February 12, 2015 at 1:58 pm

“NO YOU LUNGE, BITCH!” seriously just made my day.

  • Reply Allison February 12, 2015 at 3:31 pm

That pizza e-card sounds just like me. Not only do I burn things often when cooking, but I like to pretend that I’m actually burning calories when I am eating not-so healthy things haha

  • Reply Jenn @ Business, Life & Design February 12, 2015 at 3:55 pm

I get confused, too. At this point more Thursdays feel like Fridays than like themselves. And it’s always really disappointing when I have to remember that there’s another day left!

Mass group texts are the worst! People should know better than to message “Merry Christmas” to all 500 of their contacts at the same time. Lazy.

  • Reply Amanda February 14, 2015 at 4:18 pm

LOLOLOL… my sister gets the splotchy chest, too!

  • Reply Duckie February 17, 2015 at 8:07 pm

Who wakes up that early to work out!? Obviously not me. I do BodyRock’s HIIT workouts from time to time and I’m always yelling obscenities at the screen.
