Happy Friday!!! I love doing link ups like this because you get to learn something about people that you may have not have known otherwise.
What do you think of them now?

Happy Friday!!! I love doing link ups like this because you get to learn something about people that you may have not have known otherwise.

Happy almost Friday my people! Linking up once again today with Amber and Neely to remind myself, and others, that it is OK….
That I want to throw turtle shells and banana peels at people Mario Kart style while commuting to and from work. I mean come on people!!!!
That I felt I did my good deed for the day when I flashed my lights at 3 different cars because there is a cop at the bottom of the hill. The cops in Argo/Margaret area have nothing better than to give speeding tickets to people going 42 in a 40, so you got to look out for a fellow neighbor!
That it warmed my heart that all 3 said cars smiled and waved at me, 2 of them even mouthed “thank you.” I love friendly people!
That I sometimes I sit in my closet in the mornings and try to find a shirt to match a necklace instead of the other way around.
To stop by the mom and pop Italian restaurant on the way home from work and pick up cheese ravioli for dinner because the thought of eating soup for the 3rd night in the row is giving you a headache, literally.
To fall asleep before 9:00pm several nights in a row. Don’t judge me, I am getting old!
To ignore phone calls when you don’t recognize the number.
To be in total amazement when you see your neighbor talking a wheel barrow and shovel down the street and fill in a huge hole in the road at 7:00am. I am going to have to write her a thank you card and maybe stick a Starbucks card in there or something. Just wow!
To get super excited when I signed into blogger this morning and saw I had 19 followers! I am so honored that 19 people want to follow this little blog of mine!! I love you all!
I am linking up with the amazingly awesome Whitney today for the facts of me!
I like when money is given to me facing the same way. Why would you not have it facing the same way?
I hate when dishes are left in the sink. As in, I will stop right in the middle of doing anything if I see something sitting there in the sink.
I have a hard time being a passenger in the car. I know when I am driving I am paying attention. I always give myself enough time to stop, or change lanes or whatever for my car. I don’t know your car. I don’t know your driving habits. I tend to squirm, and hold onto my seat a bit much. I might have a panic attack if you wait to the last second to slam on your breaks. If you suck at driving really bad, I will find any way under the sun to not have to ride with you again. This might be a control issue, I don’t know.
I have road rage. Which is probably a problem that I don’t want to ride with some people, because they probably feel the same way around me. I learned out to drive in Atlanta, would you expect anything less? I also come from a long line of cursing people in the car. I picked up this bad habit at the age of 2 when I said “Stupid Asshole” when someone cut my dad off. He came home and asked my mom what she has been saying in the car with me, and her reply was “Nothing worse than what you say!”
I like for the radio volume in my car to be on an even number or end in a 5. I just do, K?!
My closet is organized by color.
I may or may not be a little OCD.
I am obsessed with my dogs. Who wouldn’t be, they are freaking adorable, are they not?

I was moved a lot when I was younger. I am not an Army brat, my dad’s job just decided to transfer him every few years. Eventually I got tired of trying to make new friends and get involved in school activities. We moved my sophomore year of high school, and that was the last straw. I quit everything except for band, and that’s only because I needed something to put on my college applications. No more cheerleading, no more trying out for plays, no more dance, no more honor society, or peer helpers, or clubs of any kind. I was done! Looking back now, I am glad that we moved around so much. I am way less sheltered than any of my friends here that haven’t been further north than Tennessee! The South has it’s own ways about it, and I know that because I have lived in other places!
I do not like spiders, or snakes, or bugs, or critters of any kind. Yuck! Unfortunately, I married someone who is even more afraid of spiders than me. Someone has to kill them at our house, and it is usually me after we both run out of the room screaming. One time, Chris did manage to kill a spider in his office because I wasn’t home. He used his air soft gun and put a hole in the wall, but he killed the spider and I couldn’t be prouder.
We have a tech problem at my house. We have to have the newest cell phones that come out. No matter how much we pay for them. I have an iPhone 5 that we paid $500 for, and I am sure when the 5S comes out, we will pay ridiculous amounts for it too! We don’t have kids…and that is probably why.
I am pretty sure I don’t go a day without a cup of coffee. If I do, watch out!
I am a door mat. I am a people pleaser, and let everyone walk all over me. I am trying to work on this.
I have never been to Disney World or Disney Land. Yes, this is tragic and it must be fixed ASAP.
I bite my nails. I have anxiety, it’s either bite my nails or go crazy…my nails take a beating.
I hate grits and okra. I know this sounds crazy, because I live in the south. I wasn’t raised here, and I didn’t know what either were til I moved down here. The textures are terrible…and the thought of having a piece of okra in my mouth is making me nauseous.
If it sparkles, then it’s mine!
My phone case 🙂
I can not lie. It is probably because I have a big butt. Seriously though, don’t ask me to lie for you because I will eff it up!
I am addicted to Michael Kors and Coach. My wallet will tell you all my addictions. Just shopping in general probably!
I love to drink water, but it HAS to be cold!
I am indecisive. Like, the worst ever! My husband gets so frustrated with me. Don’t ask me where I want to eat or what I want to do…because I don’t know!
I love sushi, but I hate fish.
I don’t know how to swim.
I want to be a runner. All these blogs about running, 5K and half marathon training make me want to run. I am scared to start. I have a crappy knee and I know it will give me problems. Right now I am trying to get myself in better shape so that I have chance!
I am afraid of heights.
I am afraid of roller coasters. I rode a few one year in middle school because my friends threatened to ditch me, I am pretty sure I won’t be back on one anytime soon.
If I love a song, I replay the shit out of it!
Go link up with Whitney at I Wore Yoga Pants to Work so I can learn some facts about you!
Well, hello there! It seems we are back to Monday already! I am one of those suckers that have to work today. Boo! No bank holidays around this place. On a positive note, it only took me 35 minutes to get to work this morning. A new record I think!
So this weekend was full of fun! Friday night, Chris and I went to his sister’s house for poker night. I have never played poker my entire life, as in didn’t know the first thing about it! So I was a little nervous. We played 2 hands that didn’t count for me to see how the game moves along, and I caught on super fast. I am proud to say I was one of the last 3 people playing! Go me! The game lasted 5 hours, so towards the end I was sort of ready to be done, and I went “all in” on a decent hand…unsure if I could pull it off or not. Sadly, I did not. I had great fun though!
Saturday I drove to my sister’s house for lunch with her, my mom and 2 of my nephews. It is not often when all 3 of us girls can get together at the same time, so I was really excited! We each made some food to bring, so lunch was delish! We just sat around and talked, and then my sister mentioned that two of the Goodwill’s near her got brand new in the package stuff from Target all the time. She had me at brand new and Target. Holla! So of course, we quickly hopped in the car and headed to the closest one. Wow. I was amazed at how awesome it is! Make sure you check it out of you have one near you! I was so excited about the whole Target at Goodwill thing, I forgot to take some pictures while I was there.
Saturday evening Chris and I headed over to his parents house for a night of pool with his dad and one of his cousins. You guys…I SUCK at pool! Like, super suck! So I stayed upstairs and kept his mom company, and we had lots of fun! I have said it before and I will say it again, I am SO SO SO very thankful for Chris’s family. They are amazing, and treat me like one of them.
Yesterday was a day full of relaxing, which was much needed. The only reason I left the house was to pick up some items to make my 7 layer dip for the Falcon’s game. I hate that they lost, because now I don’t give 2 shits about either team that is playing in the Superbowl. At least there are always the commercials.
A lot of things in our house are still a work in progress. One of my FAVORITE spots in our house in Chris’s man cave, AKA the basement. We have it set up with a projector and every game system under the sun. Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Game Cube, N64, Playstation, Sega, you name it…we have it hooked up. Life size Mario is the only way to play!
Here I picture Mario saying, “White overalls, bitches go crazy for a plumber in white overalls!”
You can’t play Nintendo without some turtle power! Oh, and by the way -Donatello sucks! You have to bend down to kill some sewer rats, and I ain’t down with that!
Last night I made Panko Chicken and green beans. Yum Yum Yum.
What you need:
chicken breasts tenders
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
2 cloves of minced garlic (1/2 teaspoon is equal to one clove if you are using the jar kind)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup Panko crumbs
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
parsley
What you do:
In one bowl, mix the Panko crumbs, Parmesan cheese and parsley. (I just sprinkle some parsley in there, it doesn’t matter how much you put in and you don’t have to put it in there if you don’t have any.)
In another bowl, melt your butter. Then mix in the Dijon mustard and the minced garlic.
