Stuff and Things and Things and Stuff

–Remember that one time when I started back to the 30 Day Shred because I thought it was a great idea to reset my work outs. Yeah I remember that time, it was Monday. And Jillian has been kicking my ass every day this week. I blame this on Morgan and my big mouth saying I would join her. Fine, I suppose it is an ass beating in the best kind of way…

–I haven’t been reading as much as I would like to this month. I am about to finish book 16 in my series. Every time I read a good book review, I add it to my “to-read” list and well that list looks super overwhelming now! I am almost scared to finish this series and not know where to start! #booknerdproblems

–You know what makes me really really ragey? I called my doctor on Tuesday to get an appointment and the next available isn’t until February. Well I mentioned that I might need to come sooner because of some issues and I got transferred to her nurse to see if she could squeeze me in. Welllll I still haven’t heard from that bitch. Good thing it wasn’t an emergency issue. The thing is, I really like my doctor and have been going to her for over ten years so I don’t want to switch just because her nurse is a dimwitted fool. RAGE

–I did a WordPress theme update and it messed up my menu banner up top. I am aware it looks wonky, I am just too lazy to figure out how to fix it right now.

–How is Christmas two weeks away? No, seriously? I feel like this year has just flown by incredibly fast. I have been trying to indulge in some Christmas things lately to enjoy the season but I feel like it is slipping away from me.

–Have you been keeping up with Jana and I on the #inthedrawer challenge. It’s not too late to join in on the fun!

The whore in a drawer thing is still hilarious to me. The whole doctor situation just pisses me off. i spent a lot of time in and out of doctors last year and every time it was like going through the wringer just to get an appointment within this century! WTF! Good for you for doing the 30 day shred! I need to get back on my workouts. Sigh.

Why do doctors offices have to make things so difficult!! Like are you seriously booked out until Feb…how is that possible!? Working out is seriously so hard this time of year – great job on keeping up with it!

Good for you for working out. I quit the gym for the time being and now I embracing eating chocolate and not giving an eff. Hehe!

Ugh. How is Christmas 2 weeks away? Where did the time go?! I also haven’t been reading as much this month, but I’m hoping to turn that around. I need my book fix. 🙂

Those doctor appointment issues give me all the rage. We actually changed pediatricians years ago because of similar incident. My daughter was sick, no one answered the phone, I left a message, and no one called us back until they were ready to close in 30 minutes. Not acceptable.

I have major book nerd problems. I can’t stop adding books to my to-read list. It’s ridiculous.

OH MY LORD – Don’t get me started on doctors and their nurses and NOT being receptive to being sick, or having new crazy AILMENTS – – – – I mean – – UGH. You know I am with you.

And, Christmas 2 weeks away – I mean shut up when the HECK did that happen???

I think I am going to do the Jillian Michael’s Shred thing too – I think now that the headache is gone, I can do some weight training. Maybe…..

🙂 #inthedrawer is helping me out with positioning my elf – who I swear needs a barbie playmate – whoa that read wrong. OR too right? hehehe

HOW is Christmas so soon??? I’m slightly freaking out about the amount of shopping I still have to do! Love the grumpy cat image haha.

Jillian is evil! And wonderful at the same time!

UGH, I hate when doctor’s offices do that! Seriously, TWO months away?? Ridiculous!

I’m starting to get panicky about Christmas coming up so fast, I have too much fun stuff I want to do and I don’t want it to be over!

  • Reply Stephanie December 11, 2014 at 12:53 pm

That’s how it is with my gynecologist. I make my appointment a year in advance because if you try to call and schedule, it’s like freaking 4 months out. (In which case I do the bratty doctor’s kid thing and make my dad call and make the appointment for me.) Like, my appointments take 5 min. I’m in and out, no baby to check out, no health issues. Squeeze me the f in and give me my birth control prescription, it’s not that hard!

I have been slacking on working out but I sprained my ankle. Good for you for sticking with it. Bummer on the menu, is your header to long maybe? How is it almost the end of the year?!

  • Reply Kate December 11, 2014 at 4:01 pm

The same thing happened to me at my doctor’s office. It’s seriously absurd.

I’m with you on the book slacking thing. I haven’t read since last week which is so unusual for me. I just haven’t felt the urge!

I have the 30 day shred DVD stashed away somewhere… I should PROBABLY get it out. I need yelled at, or nothing is gonna’ happen! You should def tell your DR about the nurse you dealt with though- not coooool.

I need my motivation back asap to work out. The holidays and healthy things are a terrible combination!

  • Reply Kristin December 11, 2014 at 9:15 pm

What book series are you reading??
Yikes, I think it might be time to find a new doctor. I feel your pain. The military is terrible at scheduling appointments and/or generally having available doctors.

  • Reply Wendy@BlushandBarbells December 11, 2014 at 10:11 pm

I haven’t been able to read much the last month or so either. I have no idea why?! I’ve already failed the winter book challenge

  • Reply Ellesees.blogspot.com December 12, 2014 at 7:15 am

i can’t believe it either! this year and this month have flown by!

  • Reply Amanda Elizabeth December 12, 2014 at 9:38 am

Ohhhh I just realized you are on wordpress! I may need to pick your brain at some point when I transfer over…..some day just not right now lol.

  • Reply Jenn @ Business, Life & Design December 12, 2014 at 9:44 am

I feel the opposite about my Goodreads “to read” list. It’s also huge, but I felt more overwhelmed when I didn’t know where to even begin with finding a new book. Now that I have suggestions I can just pick and choose from a much smaller pool of options.

I was starting to feel the pressures of approaching Christmas, so I stayed up past midnight last night and finished wrapping gifts. Silly, probably, but it makes me feel less behind on things.

  • Reply kathy@vodka and soda December 12, 2014 at 9:56 am

i swear, the nurses at the office run tings. so i’m so nice to them and bring them christmas baskets so they get me or kayla in with no problems most of the time. i also tell kayla to be all cute with them because they love it.

  • Reply Morgan December 12, 2014 at 10:15 am

Oh, Jillian! Why do you make me hurt so bad?! I have to admit, I’ve had to modify some of the moves (per our discussion over email), but I’m still SO sore!! She’s definitely kicking my ass.

  • Reply Amanda December 13, 2014 at 10:16 am

There’s nothing more frustrating than the Dr not being able to get you in for a while. Don’t they keep emergency appointments open most of the time?!

  • Reply Krystal December 14, 2014 at 12:54 am

I cant believe christmas is two weeks away either …
