Favorite Moment: Meeting up with Laura yesterday for the grand opening of a new breakfast/lunch spot, Feast and Forest. They didn’t have a huge selection on their menu the first day so I just got a ham and cheese sandwich but I also grabbed a Nutella Poptart from their bakery case. You guys!!! Yes, it is as amazing as it sounds!!!!
Favorite Beauty Product:I purchased the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation during the Sephora sale last week and I am in love!!! Not only does this stuff have amazing coverage, but it is super build-able, doesn’t irritate my skin, looks super natural and lasts forever. Seriously, when I get home from a long day at work and look in the mirror…my face is nearly as perfect as when I left in the morning!!! Also, this stuff doesn’t rub off like every other foundation that I have ever used. Usually when I wear my sunglasses, they leave marks on my face from where they sat. Now? Nothing!!! Super win for me. I think I found my holy grail foundation.
Favorite Mail: Black Friday ads are rolling in!!! Although, I don’t like to see places opening on Thursday during Thanksgiving dinner. Boo!!!! My mom and I will be out much later that night when all the world is tucked away to sleep 🙂

I love that you and your mom go out late on Thanksgiving, I just can’t do the get up at 4 AM Black Friday thing anymore after some of the crazy situations I’ve been in, ha ha! I also hate when stores open on Thanksgiving. I feel like it is just wrong. I have actually never been out for Black Friday. I’m scared! I do get plenty of shopping done online though!

Part of me wishes that we’d opted for the hardwood stairs so we could do something fun like those stairs you pinned, but it saved us $1500 to just get them carpeted. Andddd it’s not as much of a slip hazard for the Queen of Grace (me). Also, I’ve been looking at kitchens and what is with all the white cabinets? Am I missing something? I get that it makes your space look lighter, but Teh German is pretty set on dark cabinets with light counter tops and I’m just like, why can’t it all be rainbows (ok not really, but sometimes I wish this was a thing)?

That would be why I love that Lancome foundation… It’s one of my staples. Granted, I’m about to go out shopping, and right now I’m pretty much just in cheap BB, eyeshadow liner, and gloss, but when I need my powerhouse for all day at work, that’s what I grab.
1. I need that Nutella pop tart in my life.
2. I need that chicken in my life.
3. I need those black glitter studs in my life.
4. I totally had that moment of “what day is it?” after my nap today haha.
