First magazine subscription
My first magazine subscription was to Teen People. My mom loved reading people magazine, so she ordered me Teen People. I think she also ordered me 17 at the same time, or shortly there after. I loved to read magazines with her. I always have a subscription to something to this day. My mom and I usually have different subscriptions, and trade.
First real piece of jewelry you owned
My Grandma Jerry gave me gold cross earrings for my baptism when I was in elementary school. I felt so special when she gave them to me. I wore them all the time and took really good care of them. Unfortunately, I think they got lost in one of our many moves.
First time staying home alone
The first time I stayed home alone was when I was about 10 years old. My mom would be home about 30 minutes after my sister and I got off the bus from school every day, and I was a very responsible, trustworthy kid…so Tracy and I were OK for about 30 minutes alone each day. Tracy was 5 at the time.

Seventeen was my first one too! And I thought I was sooo cool reading it before I was actually seventeen-years-old. And Teen People was also a good one! Sounds like me and my mom, because she also loved People a lot too 🙂
