Confessions

–I got all excited and ordered a few items that I needed last week online. This week I realized why I don’t usually order stuff online. I have ZERO patience to wait for it to get to my house!!! #nopatience

And really I just want to be like….

(If you can’t read lips, he is saying “mail!!!”)

–Two of my coworkers and I are out in cube land and we cannot stand how loud some of the people are in our building. I mean these are grown ass adults that should know what an inside voice is. I can’t even think or focus when they are talking. If I am on my phone, I can barely hear the people on the other end. There are days I literally want to pop over of my cube and be like…

They leave their speaker phones on really loud too and one of my coworkers has literally gotten up and slammed their office door shut multiple times and they don’t get the hint. I mean how do you even handle a situation like that??? They don’t work for my company so it’s not like our boss can send out a friendly email reminder or anything, you know?? #STFU #ihatepeople

–I still really don’t understand Snapchat. Does someone want to explain it to me like I am the dumbest person on the planet? I was watching some of your stories and I think they are cool but how do you do it? Are you a wizard? Are the snaps going out to everyone on your list? Is snaps what it is called?  #oldladystatus

–Last night I realized that I missed Jenna and Julien’s new podcast for this week because I had been listening to an audiobook. Well it is part three of conspiracy theories and I got really excited! I love listening to that stuff. Some of it sounds totally far fetched and crazy, and other stuff makes complete sense and sounds totally legit. #aliens

–I’m eating a box of Cracker Jacks as I type this. Don’t judge. #youknowyoulovethem

–Is it just me, or does blogland seem a bit sparse lately? I was done reading posts super early yesterday and I almost thought for a minute that maybe Bloglovin was down again or something but it doesn’t seem so?

it seems like blog views are sparse lately–i’m blaming it on back to school.

What did you buy online??? You can’t just say you bought something and not tell us!! I’m nosy and need to know!!! My coworkers and I all have offices, so naturally you would think that when you have a conference call or want to use speaker phone, close the door to your office. But nooooo, so many people leave the door open and then I have to close MY door.

Me wanna a cookie now…after I eat my cracker cracks!! Ha ha, love those things! No judging her girl…ever!!! Yeah, I learned 3 regular bloggers I follow have stopped, does get time consuming but I miss them already! Your funnies are the mottos of my life! Amen and Happy Hump Day!!!

I love snapchat! I like the stories okay but my favorite part is sending friends messages I animate with my facial expressions and their like replies. Hehehe

  • Reply Rebecca Jo August 26, 2015 at 10:20 am

Whew -I’m not alone. I don’t understand the whole Snapchat thing either. I tried to get my 14 yr old niece to explain it to me. I’m even MORE clueless.

I am in cube land myself… its why I downloaded iTunes on my computer & sit with earbuds in all day – I’ll probably be deaf by the time I’m 50 where I try to block out the idiots that feel like they have to scream all day long for everyone to hear.

  • Reply pinky August 26, 2015 at 10:39 am

I’m very impatient when I order things online, too! Just get here already right?

I have the WORST cube person next to me and it drives me insane how GROSS and loud he is all the time. I love the days he’s home sick or not at work, like today, woohoo!

Gah people are so stupid / ignorant / inconsiderate! I’m pretty sure Scott gives me the puppy look everytime when he gets snarky and I ask if he’s “hangry.” Answer is usually yes! Happy Wednesday!!! Dorrie @ Rt 1 US 1

I’m not down with snap chat. It seems like instagram’s annoying younger sibling I have no interest in getting to know.

  • Reply Kate @ Green Fashionista August 26, 2015 at 11:09 am

YES to cube land and people being super loud, and it’s always without fail people who have offices they can go into and make their noise in there. And lol at Blues Clues and MAILLLLL!

  • Reply Jenn @ Optimization Actually August 26, 2015 at 11:33 am

It has been sparse lately! Especially the end of the week. “Here’s the mail, it never fails, it makes me wanna wag my tails, when it comes I wanna wail, MAIIIIIL!!!” Yeah, I wish real life was like that. I ordered something from Etsy and it turns out it’s shipping from Scotland (whoops!), has been over 3 weeks already and probably won’t arrive before I need it. Boo. 🙁

My cubicle used to be right next to this woman who I swear SCREAMS on the phone. Like…it’s 2015, you’re not 97, you should realize that a normal voice will transmit through the phone just fine. I moved like 5 feet farther away which is nice…but obviously I can still hear all of her conversations. Since I pretty much order everything online these days (#shutin) I don’t mind waiting, but when I do actually buy something in the store I’m like, “WHOA, I didn’t have to wait for this!” Hahaha.

  • Reply Laura @ Life with Lolo August 26, 2015 at 12:11 pm

I used to have a shared space work area too with these two guys who rented space from our company. They sold neck coolers, no joke. And of course, my cube was the closest to them. They were so loud, fought constantly, and always had young, female “interns” that I felt they came on to way too much. It was so freaking distracting. How am I supposed to work! And they weren’t part of our company so I couldn’t really do anything about it. So I feel ya on that one girl. Also, I’ve had snapchat forever and I STILL don’t really get it. I mean I get the individual snaps, but the stories thing? So over my head. Wizards I tell you, wizards!

Girl. I am the same way with online shopping! That’s why I LOVE Amazon Now. i’m obsessed. You get your stuff in TWO HOURS. Now that, I can handle. 😀

  • Reply Biana @blovedboston August 26, 2015 at 12:50 pm

I have the same lack of patience on waiting for things to come i check the status daily lol. I’m in an office right now and there is a guy outside my office in his own that keeps his door open on conf calls and has it on speaker – drives me bananas lol! xo, Biana

I would just ask those people to pipe the fuck down!
Blogland has been VERY sparse lately, I’ve noticed that too!

ugh people. rage. i dont give a fuck at work; i’ll tell those motherfu*kers to take it down a few levels or throw them a headset because i don’t care about work so what makes them think i care to hear about *their* work? NOPE.

  • Reply Robin August 26, 2015 at 1:58 pm

I have noticed the same thing about adults while working retail jobs in the past. Loud, obnoxious, and they think that everyone in line and every store employee wants to hear them loudly talk about their opinions.

  • Reply Em August 26, 2015 at 3:06 pm

I seriously can’t get into Snapchat either…I have enough to keep up with! Haha. However with online shopping, I love doing it and coming home to a package…it’s like Christmas. LOL.

I’m old lady status with snapchat too! I’ve had it for a couple months now but actually did my first one today. Who knows if I did it correctly though. lol I find it hard keeping up with all the news of social media plus blogging. What next??

  • Reply Katie Elizabeth August 26, 2015 at 3:44 pm

I think blogland is super quiet right now! I’m sure it’ll pick back up this fall when everyone gets back into a normal routine! That and Bloglovin tends to suck since their update so it could be that, too 😉 Happy Wednesday!

yeah i think people are taking breaks or being busy or something, who knows.
girl get you on youtube and search ‘how to do snapchat’ haha

Oh I work with some people who are really loud and it drives me crazy. I know that when I get excited I can be loud and I try really really hard to use my indoor voice. I wish other people understood that.

  • Reply Kerry August 26, 2015 at 10:04 pm

I am living the cube life and I hate it but unfortunately it is not going anywhere. It totally sucks though. It has been a little sparse lately, i blame it on the end of summer.

  • Reply alyssa August 26, 2015 at 10:19 pm

Oh my god there’s a higher-up whose office is literally right behind my cubicle and he is the LOUDEST person ever!! He is always making calls on speakerphone with the volume all the way up and the door wide open and he YELLS Into the phone… or they all congregate like RIGHT OUTSIDE HIS OFFICE which is literally right behind me. OMG. SO rude and distracting! If I make typos it’s all their fault haha

  • Reply Heather August 27, 2015 at 8:12 am

Amazon makes it the worst…because I expect all things to arrive in two days! However, I hate actually going to the mall and prefer the freebies I get online so it’s a toss up. Love me for the a hole I am, bwahaha! Your ecards are on point! We have a guy that talks to Siri to remind him things and OMG SHUT UUUUPPPPP! I love it when the loud people are gone and it’s super quiet. *Heaven* Oh yeah, the things we didn’t buy hauntings…or the things you didn’t even know existed UNTIL they aren’t available anymore.

I don’t understand snapchat either. Or Periscope. Too many social media choices. I can’t handle it all.

Is that cat filing the back of it’s toes rather that it’s nails? That’s kinda weird, lol.
I always regret choosing the not 2-day shipping when I order stuff off Amazon, despite the $1 credit for media.
I’ve recently realized that people just are rude and dgaf, which is obnoxious when I’m trying to be respectful/productive.
All those quotes are spot on, as always.
