Spring is in the air!!! The high here in Birmingham today is 82, the trees are blooming, the bees are buzzing, and the damn mosquitoes are the size of pterodactyls already!
There is something rejuvenating about the first few weeks of spring. The warm sun feels so good on your vampire pale skin. You start planning your meals around who has the best patio spot in town. You whip out your flip flops and swear you will never go back to regular shoes again. And you double fist Cadbury mini eggs and Clariton D like it’s your job.
I have been loving looking through all the magazines and catalogs at the spring clothes. I thought I would share a few of my favorite items for spring!!!

Shell/ Flip Flops/ Color Block Top/Off Shoulder Swing Dress
I really like to mix up my items. I won’t pay top dollar for just anything. I think it is good to have a balance of a few designer pieces that are timeless and you will have season after season, and then throw in a few inexpensive “trendier” pieces that you like right now but maybe you won’t care so much about it in a year or two.

I love all the things you chose especially those wedges. I am trying to make more of an effort with my work clothes and although I hate wearing heels every day I think wedges are doable and so summery! Love the lipstick color too!

I love the cuffed jeans with heels — I’m totally going to rock that this spring! I also splurged and bought the vans — the black ones, and I’m in love. Although, I really want a pair of white ones too! I love that lip color!!
I have those wedges in black but would love to have the natural colored ones, they’re actually really comfortable. I am loving anything pink, blush and florals. Oh the Carbury eggs joys!!! Love hearing those birds chirping when I wake up but we have an owl and woodpecker too, lol.
I have no favorite spring products (although I have been using grapefruit body spray and plan on picking up the Too Faced PB&J palette) but I am so excited for flip flops and maxi skirts and warm weather.
Love that you’re able to start enjoying spring so early! We’ve had some teaser days and now we’re getting more rain…but at least it’s warming up 🙂 Love those wedges and cannot wait to pull out my rompers and maxi skirts!
I totally agree with this philosophy! I mix expensive pieces with cheap pieces and NEVER pay full price for anything!
We’re on the same line of thinking. Grey vans, wedges, metallic sandals… want it all!

That lipstick color is so pretty! And I just bought a purse that same mint green color, it’s so springy I love it!
I can’t believe that it’s already Spring! I’m definitely loving the warmer weather, but I could do without all of the allergies! I love how you buy a few designer pieces and then some less expensive cutesy pieces that you might not like after a few seasons. That’s an easy way to stay trendy without spending a ton! That mint bag you like is so adorable!
Those wedges are so cute, I want them! But, no shopping for me. Not yet anyway. I like to see how I do with my current stuff before I add anything, and it’s not quite sandal weather yet here. Soon.

Stitch Fix sent me some gorgeous earrings that I think have become the inspiration for my spring wardrobe pieces. It’s a tricolor of navy, sky blue, and sea green. I think a few pieces that feature those colors plus some white bottoms and brown wedges should have me set.

Yes to ALL the Spring things! My favorite time of year for sure. I love being able to not have heat OR a/c on and just let the windows open whenever we want!! 🙂

Spring is my favourite season! I’m jealous of all these Spring posts that I am reading. Loose, comfy dresses are my uniform practically. And, I love bright colors for the lip and for nails.
Those Cadbury cream eggs get me every year. lol I was just looking at those same exact MK wedges over the weekend deciding if I wanted the black or beige…I was good an didn’t buy them because I have so many shoes I just don’t wear.
That third row of picks is perfection! I love those wedges, so cute! Also, eating the white part of the cadbury eggs is definitely healthier 😉 I personally love the caramel ones.
I would like to get my hands on some cute rompers this season. Rompers and dresses are just so fun and easy on the weekends.
