Mondays. Am I right??? The first weekend of March sure did come flying through and barely stopped, am I right?! We kicked off the weekend with some take out from our local BBQ place. It has become a Friday staple as of lately. Plus, it is nice to not have to cook something after a long week of work!
Saturday we ran some errands, Chris got a bad ass new laptop, and we had some Mexican for a late lunch/early dinner and stopped by my SIL house for a little bit to visit. Zoe may or may not have had a complete meltdown over there because she has been fighting her naps lately. Fun times.
Zoe also turned three months old on Saturday and we had a little mini photo shoot in her room where she cracked me up!!! I will be sharing those pictures later this week. I can see how these are going to get progressively harder each month as the little wiggle worm learns how to move faster!
Sunday was meal planning, grocery shopping and I made this bad boy….
This is an ancient grain naan with leftover pulled pork (from Friday), BBQ sauce, bacon and blue cheese. I put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 12 minutes and it was delicious!!!!

I attempted to work out, even put on workout clothes but then this happened….
Pay no attention to the no makeup face. Or the black under eyes for days. #yikes
And while I was moving stuff around in my office, someone was sitting on the job. Quite literally.
Clearly I need harder working assistants than these two that use their cute looks to get through life.

new tech gear is the best! when my laptop nearly died, i was so excited to get a new one and i was half-heartedly fixing it but then it came back to life and that meant no new tech gear. sads.
This weekend went by so fast! It sounds like you guys were busy, but productive! The naan pizza you threw together looks amazing! Zoe is so cute- love her little smile!
That naan pizza looks AMAZING! And yes, the pictures get way harder to take but they also get way more hilarious too haha.

Oh that pizza looks so good!! Little Zoe is adorable! Fighting the naps are the worse. I wish I could nap during the day, haha! As children, we hate nap time. As adults, we wish for it. lol. Happy Monday! Hope it is a fab one.

Things I miss from Bahrain: Fresh naan bread and hummus. And also fruit juices not from concentrate… but mostly the naan and hummus.
But their cuteness will take them far!!!

I have to ask what laptop Chris bought since I can’t decide on one! Your pizza looks so good – I need to recreate that recipe at home! How can you work out when you have such a sweet snuggly baby?!
I saw that naan pizza and about died from envy. I love anything on naan. Over the holidays were were on a kick… grilled in a little evoo and black pepper with feta on top. How do you get anything done with that adorable baby??

Hahahaha! I can definitely see how Zoe and Mac might hinder your progress. But they’re too cute! You obviously have to stop whatever you’re doing and cuddle them!
At least you put workout clothes on! I haven’t even done that lately and I don’t have a 3 month old either! That pizza that you made out of leftover BBQ looks fantastic and I’m basically drooling! I hope that your Monday is off to a great start!

Nap-fighting is so hard on everyone, ugh!!! Her sweet little face probably makes it a little easier though hehe- I can’t wait to see her 3 months pictures. I cannot believe it’s already been 3 months!!
Ooooh what kind of laptop did Chris get? Chuck says I need a new one but I’m trying to hold off until it’s really a necessity. I would never be able to get anything done if I had a sweet Zoe around 🙂
Sweet cheeks is 3 months already?! Boy do the months go by quickly but I guess Serena just turned 3 months too so easy to keep track for me! lol The naan flatbread/pizza looks delicious! Definitely need to try out using naan for homemade pizza. When I tried to make homemade pizza crust it was an absolute disaster. lol No time for that again!
