My goal was to read 50 books in 2016 and I actually read 65. Yay!!! And that was 65 books from January to November, because I literally read nothing in December. Oops. One of my favorite book days of the year is seeing what everyone’s favorite reads were over the entire year!!! These are the books you know you want to have added to your TBR! Now, these books weren’t necessarily ones that came out this year but rather ones that I read this year. They are listed in no particular order.

So we had a few of the same favorites this year like The Nightingale and Me Before You! I still need to read Still Alice, but I’m a little afraid to because I know that it’ll be sad! And One True Loves! I need to read this or another Taylor Jenkins Reid book because I’ve heard nothing but great things about her!
Yes to Me Before You and Still Alice and Eleanor & Park! And after reading everyone’s favorite books of the year I desperately want to read Swear On This Life , One True Loves, and The Nightingale! And really anything by Jojo Moyes. 🙂
Silver Bay is on my list! all of these that i have read i loved as well, we have such similar taste! there are a couple i haven’t read, so adding them to my list 🙂
One True Love is so high on my list to read soon. I keep hearing about that one.
I have a lot of these on my list already. Can’t wait to check them out. I need to get to The Nightingale and want to read The Happiness Project.

i told Kristen that I was going to get back on my reading game this year — I feel like it would be a good time to jump back in, and SURPRISE, I finished a book over winter “break”. Going to read the Nightingale before the end of the month!! I MUST. 🙂
The Java Jive series sounds so fun! I think Silver Bay is one of the only Moyes books I haven’t read, so I’ll definitely add it to the list for this year!
