Why is the time change still a thing? Does anyone actually like getting your schedule messed up twice a year??? Also, did you know that babies and dogs have no regard for such changes? Exhibit A:

Regardless of the loss of an hour of sleep, which is really just humorous at this point….there have been a lot of fun things going on around here lately!!! My mom came to visit Z and I and took us out for lunch and shopping. I got a new shirt and dress and we got Z some stuff for her Easter basket! Speaking of Easter, I ordered the cutest basket from Pottery Barn Kids that I cant wait to show you!!
Chris started looking at new cars this weekend. He wants to join the SUV club too! Looking for new cars is always so fun but daunting. Sort of like looking for a house. It’s a big financial commitment and you want to make sure you aren’t getting screwed.
My sister and my dad both stopped by (separately) to see Little Z this weekend. I have seen my family more since having a baby, than I have the last 7 years living in this state! Having a baby gives you some leverage!
I started working out again last week!!! Man, were my legs sore for about three days after! Eating has also looked a lot like this….
I have a good 10 pounds to get back to pre-pregnancy weight and a whole lot more pounds and tightening to get back to pre-pregnancy shape and better!! Having to cut the grass soon should help with the cardio!
Speaking of grass, what the fuck is up with the weather????? I am all, is it going to be hot or cold today and Birmingham is all BOTH! I don’t even know how to dress for this but whatever, I make it up as I go. Doesn’t stop my allergies though, am I right?!

The weather has been crazy here, too – 70 on Thursday and 30 today. My allergies are screwed! Can’t wait to see her Easter basket! I love Easter so much and always love seeing what people buy for their kids… that’s probably weird. Love the new pics of Z! She is so cute!
hahaha, about seeing family more once you have a baby! It’s so true, although we all know who they’re there for. I’m about over this weather — like be hot OR cold, not both in the span of 24 hours, k….thanks. She is too cute in her little tutu!
Guess what, we have 3 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing. It normally takes me 15 minutes to get to work but it took me 30 today not to mention the crazy messed up sleep schedule. I feel piir Zoe too and I think it definitely did a number on Daisy. That salad looks delicious and you work those legs girl! Sounds like a great weekend and I hope you have a super week
This time change is totally messing with me too, and I can’t handle it! And also the weather! It was kind of toasty last week and then all of a sudden it’s freezing this weekend, what the heck? At least we’re not getting snow like the Northeast, right? And oh my goodness, Zoe’s tutu butt! It’s seriously so adorable!
I’m sure Zoe (and you) loved all of her visitors over the weekend. Her little tutu outfit is so cute. Yay for getting back into working out, that’s the best kind of soreness. This never happens, but I’m actually craving a salad after seeing the one you posted– it looks so good!
Oh I love her tutu! She is so adorable. I too was all messed up with the time change. I don’t even know why we still do it. The weather is so crazy. Last week it was in the 60’s, this week it is in the teens and we are supposedly getting a Blizzard tomorrow. Hard to believe that spring is around the corner.

Great job on the 10 lbs! So I know I’m probably in the minority but the time change doesn’t bother me. That’s probably only because I don’t have kids & it always falls over spring break so I don’t have set an alarm anyway. I just wake up when I want.

Oh Lord… I started back on the exercise wagon last week too and YEP my legs were killing me for days. Back to the gym I will go on Wednesday and Sunday. I’m easing in.. shooting for 2-3 days a week right now. I have massive weight to shed… again.
Love Zoe’s precious smile. Exhibit A is exactly how I looked this morning! Not a fan of waking up when it’s still pitch black outside. The salad looks yummy! My favorite is using pecans, dried cranberries and crumbled Gorgonzola with a creamy vinaigrette. So good!
Easter is my favorite- so I can’t wait to see Zoe’s stuff. Her pics are the cutest and that ruffle on the onesie- adorbs!! This weather is driving me so damn crazy. My allergies are insane- had to get some medicine today. Have a good week 🙂
