Recent Amazon Purchases You Need

This post may contain affiliate links

We have had around 50 packages delivered from Amazon so far this year. I wont share all of those with you, most are repurchases of things like diapers, wipes, dog food, etc. A lot are tech items, cables and such that Chris orders. I don’t even know what  half of it is for. But these are our recent purchases that  have been awesome!!!!

Clairol Shimmer Lights Shampoo

Clairol Shimmer Lights Original Shampoo Blonde and Silver 8 oz.

I have highlights in my hair again, and I can get brassy looking fast. I have been using this shimmer lights shampoo two times a week and it has been keeping my highlights looking so good!!!! I put it in my hair and go about doing my shaving, body wash and face wash, and it sits there and does it’s stuff.  This is under $10 and a little goes a long way. They use it at my salon and prefer it over a lot of the high end brands.

Nubby Octopus Bath Toy

Nuby Octopus Hoopla Bathtime Fun Toys, Purple

I was having the hardest time finding toys for bath time that weren’t molding. All the cute little squirty toys, or ones with holes in them will eventually mold. This octopus has rings that come off some of his arms and everything floats. There are no holes, so no mold  happening. Zoe fell in love the second she saw it and basically tried to take it to bed with her the first few days she had it.

Munchkin Lazy Bouys

Munchkin Lazy Buoys Bathtub Toys

This is another bath toy that will not mold. All of the pieces are fun to lift up out of the water and shower down on  you. They all mix and match and are so cute in person! Zoe was a big fan of these as well!

Microplane Pedicure

Microplane Colossal Pedicure Rasp, Pink

I haven’t paid for a pedicure since I lived in Atlanta. It has been over 10 years since I have had one. I was doing fine with them on my own until I got pregnant. Not being able to reach my feet for several months and then having a newborn and neglecting myself for awhile really took a toll on my feet!!! They were so embarrassingly bad!!!!! I didn’t want to go get a pedicure, because all they really do is superficial buffing that only lasts a little while. I would rather invest in something that I can do at home that makes a difference! This was under $10 and is seriously incredible!!! It has over 2,000 five star reviews. Just do it!

MatchaDNA Frother

MatchaDNA Handheld Electric Milk Frother (Round Tip Silver)

I actually picked this up because I saw in on Andrea’s blog one day. It is so inexpensive, what did I have to lose? It is seriously the BEST $7 I ever spent!!!! Chris and I both froth milk for our coffee in the mornings now and have quit using those sugary creamers. I also make matcha lattes using this matcha powder. Some matcha powder, milk, honey and cinnamon and it is perfection!!!! It tastes wonderful over ice too! And you can add it to smoothies and get the antioxidant benefits that way.

Thinkbaby Sunscreen

Thinkbaby Safe Sunscreen SPF 50+, 3oz

Zoe has super sensitive skin. She also has similar coloring to me, and I burn like crazy. This sunscreen is awesome and worked great at the beach last summer. It makes the EWG list for best sunscreens, is easy to apply, and has a pleasant smell. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all or burn her eyes like some sunscreens do. We ordered it again for this summer. I have used it as well and like it better than adult sunscreens.

85 Watt Studio Light Bulbs

KAEZI 85 Watt Studio Light Bulb 5500K CFL Day Light.

It is so dark in our garage if the doors are down. Chris ordered a two back of these bulbs and it is amazing how good it looks in there!!! It makes such a difference when you are trying to dig something out of the car. Also, our treadmill is in the garage and now I don’t feel like it is nighttime all the time while I am running.

Burt’s Bees Baby Oil

Burt's Bees Baby Oil, One 4oz Bottle

To combat efforts on getting eczema under control. our doctor recommended adding baby oil to Zoe’s baths. This has been a night and day difference!!!! It is amazing how soft her skin is when she comes out of the tub now. Before her entire back and legs would be broken out, and now she only has a few marks that are inevitable. Can’t say enough good things about this!

What have you ordered lately?

Amazon is so convenient- I don’t know how many things I’ve ordered recently in the middle of the night when I’ve remembered something we need. Those bath toys look so fun and sooo nice to not have to worry about mold from water collecting in them!

I never would have thought to add baby oil to help with eczema in the bath!! My brother has it and was always told sun was the best thing! I read match, not matcha on the frother and with DNA in the name I was like what does this have to do with frothing?! lol! Love me some Amazon!!

I might have to try out that baby oil. It’s so handy for skin issues or make-up removal!
I need a new milk frother! My brother got me one but I think it was a hand-me-down from him. Hahahaha. (He’s so cheap.) It barely works and doesn’t have much power…

My feet are SO dry and gross that I’ve been wanting to buy one of those Amope electronic things. Have you ever tried that? I wonder if the plain brush like the one you got is better. I might go that way instead.
That octopus toy is so cute!

Did I just buy both of those baby toys for Alice? Yes. Yes I did.

I’ve been looking for a good milk frother myself!
Heck, i’d love that bath toy

Bath toys that won’t mold are the best. We have that octopus, too! We haven’t had a ton of breakout issues, but I’ll keep that oil in mind if we do!

Great post! Nubby is adorable. I have a milk frother too and love it.

Ooh that baby oil sounds amazing. I honestly think I need some baby sunscreen – I just burn so easy, even when I’m wearing sunscreen and I put it on over and over. Sigh. Aw, love those baby toys. I think my youngest niece would love them.

Good to know about the pedicure tool! I usually go about 6 months between pedicures at salons and do at home upkeep with tools like this! Funny story, G actually had to paint my toenails a couple weeks ago because I couldn’t reach my feet because of the baby belly!

I need that pedicure tool! It’s been ages since I’ve had one done.

Ooooh Amazon how did we ever live without you?! Yay for all the mold-free bath toys, and I need that milk frother in my life <3

Shimmer lights is amazing – why have I never thought of looking for it on Amazon?! My feet are so rough right now. Sandal weather wears them out, so I need to check out that pedicure product, too!

i am so intrigued by those light bulbs. our garage is super weird, the lights come on gradually. i don’t get it. i need to figure it out and then brighten it. but we need brighter lights in our basement, its SO dark in there and i have to turn on like 5 lights.
i hate getting pedicures because my feet are SO ticklish. i will have to check that thing out.
