How is it even possible that it is the Friday before Christmas?!?! I don’t even know where this past year has gone to be honest. I am both excited that it is Friday, and nervous at the same time. I have to have surgery this afternoon. I was trying to hold off until after the holidays but I just cant wait any longer. I am having a tooth extracted that cracked back when I had my wisdom teeth taken out earlier this year. The nerve is now exposed and there is no saving it. Not quite how I wanted to start of my Christmas festivities, but I am looking forward to just getting this tooth out of my mouth and hopefully some relief!
To get my mind off the fact that I will be “put under” soon….I am listening to some Christmas music. After all, the best way to spread cheer is to sing loudly for all to hear! If someone held me at gunpoint and told me I had to pick my top five Christmas songs ever, they would be:
1. Christmas Canon Rock – Trans -Siberian Orchestra
2. Where Are You Christmas? – Faith Hill (from The Grinch)
3. My Only Wish This Year – Britney Spears
4. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Leona Lewis.
5. Merry Christmas Happy Holidays – NSYNC
It is hard to narrow them down!!! I wanted This Gift by 98 degrees and Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You on the list but there just wasn’t enough room!
My favorite Christmas Albums are by Jessica Simpson, NSYNC, Martina McBride, Kenny G and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. What are you top favorite Christmas songs? Maybe you can sing them to me and spread the cheer! I am going to need it! Please send me good vibes for today, I need a speedy recovery, as I have our first two family Christmas events this weekend! We have a huge family gathering with Chris’s family on Saturday and my Dad’s Christmas dinner on Sunday.

I hope all goes smoothly and you are feeling great in no time! I found a new Christmas playlist on Spotify to love today – it’s called Contemporary Christmas. The Leona Lewis “One More Sleep” has grown on me a lot this year, but it isn’t top 5 worthy! One of my favorites is Need a Little Christmas since it was playing as we got engaged and duh, Michael Buble!

I had a cracked tooth removed on just novacane (sp?) and happy gas. It wasn’t bad. I was put under for my wisdom teeth (all 4 at once)… it was actually pretty fun to wake up from. hahah 😛 Don’t be scurred. 🙂

Good luck with the tooth surgery. I had my wisdom teeth taken out for Christmas one year, and it’s definitely not fun, but that year was the only year I didn’t over eat and gain weight 😉
