Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser

I use this every morning to clean my face and I absolutely love it. It is my holy grail face cleanser. I switch up what I use in the evenings to remove makeup, but I always have a bottle of this on hand for the morning. Chris uses it too. I love how creamy it is, and it gives just the slightest cool tingle when you wash, never stripping you of moisture. My face has never looked better since using it.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense

Another holy grail. I think this is my third bottle? I use this in the mornings and evenings and absolutely love it! It is the perfect moisturizer before make up and it leaves the skin so soft and a little dewy. I have combination skin, and this is the perfect amount of moisturizer for me.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

I use this stuff in the evenings to remove my makeup. It does a decent job, but sometimes the cotton pads leave a little cotton behind and that gets on my nerves. I ended up getting an oil this time around. I would purchase this again, but I am not loyal to it.

Foreo Play

I received this in an Allure Beauty Box last year and was really excited. It was fun to use, but then it died and you cant replace the batteries in the play. If you were going to get one of these, I would recommend one that is rechargeable or one you can replace the batteries in. I know they cost more, but in the long run it is worth it. I haven’t run out to get one  yet, don’t know if I will. I think this lasted a few months….but I didn’t use it every day.

Olay 7 Total Effects Eye Cream

This eye cream was alright. I am sort of meh with it. As I am with just about every eye cream that I try. I am still in search of the holy grail, let me know what yours is! For the price, this one does alright but it doesn’t blow me away and I still have fine lines and dark circles.

The Healthy Deodorant in Lavanilla

When I was pregnant, and a few months before….I was on a quest to find the perfect natural deodorant. Well folks, it doesn’t exist. I have tried so many brands and they all quit on me after a month or so. It’s really frustrating. This one smells amazing, I like the application and it isn’t too ridiculous of a price. I might try again in the future, but I am disappointed that none continue to last. I know many people who have this same issue.

Have you used any of these? What are you loving lately?

I haven’t ever used the Murad cleanser before, but I love their spot treatment. I’ll have to check them out next time the Sephora sale comes around because I swear that I only buy face products during the Sephora sale!

Need to try the Murad cleanser! I love the Clinique moisturizer but love the Neutrogena just as much. Sticking with it for now! I am the same with natural deodorant- it works for awhile and then I feel like I smell. I wish there was a better way.

The Murad cleanser sounds awesome…I have a few Murad products but haven’t tried this one. I agree about the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water…I like it to remove makeup but not married to it and would try others out there.

I change up my deodorant each time I need a new one, that seems to work. Right now it’s a Nature’s Gate one. Did you detox first? Sometimes natural deodorants just don’t work on a person until they go through the detox.

I tried the Micellar Water also and didn’t love it. I just went back to make-up remover wipes followed up by toner and moisturizer. As far as deodorant I just stick with Dove it seems to work the best. I got this facial lotion in my ipsy bag called Promise Organic Nourishing Coconut Milk Facial Lotion with Hibiscus and so far I LOVE it!! Best of all it’s at CVS. It smells soooo good and is perfect at night and in the morning before I put on make-up. It’s for normal to combination skin.

I am obsessed with the micellar water!

I saw the word LaVanillia and got excited because I was figuring it was a mix between lavender and vanilla. I do not like to use a lot of deodorant for the very reasons most of us feel we probably shouldn’t but I’ve tried so many of the natural ones and they just don’t work. I want to try the cleanser!

Deoderant is the worst! I’ve struggled to find a regular one that I like, and I always get nervous about natural ones because people seem to say they don’t really work or they irritate their skin. I’ve been using the Simple micellar water and have similar feelings– I like it when I use it, but it’s not something I reach for regularly to take off my makeup.

I ended up skipping on eye cream after a while. Instead, I just dot some of my regular moisturizer around my eyes. I’m eyeing a few options from Benton and Mizon, though, since I really love those two brands. That said, the best eye product I’ve used has been Shiseido’s Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate. Problem is, it’s $67 for about 1/2 an ounce. Since Shiseido is a drugstore brand in Japan, I’ve been furiously searching to see if I can find an importable option. I know their sunscreens are a good deal better and less expensive if you get them from Japan, but Japan has a lockdown right now on exporting sunscreens to the US, so I don’t bank on being able to get my hands on them easily.

Clinique Moisture surge huh? that sounds like some pretty good stuff – I’ve never even really thought to go to the Clinique counter for actual skin care. I’m so in the dark when it comes to that stuff. I’m still looking for a holy grail eye cream too, so if you find one, let me know!!

I have been wanting to try a more natural deodorant too, but haven’t found one that I like or doesn’t make me smell. Ha. But many of these other items I really want to try. I need to change up my make up routine for sure.

I am 100% trying micellar water since everyone keeps talking it up. Also, that Murad sounds awesome and I just followed your link to see if they’re c.f. They are! I’m going to snag some of that stuff for K and I!

I love that La Vanilla deodorant. I bought it also because it was “natural” it is better… but it turns out they use a sneaky word in the ingredients called “botanical fragrance blend” which means it could contain anything. 🙁 It was the one I liked most of anything I’ve tried though. Bummer. XO – Alexandra

I’ve used the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water too and I totally know what you mean about the cotton bits ha! Also, I have looked into the natural deodorant thing but haven’t really come across any that have convincing reviews.
