Confessions

–I can’t stand gum smackers. There is a  new person that sits in a cube near me and she is a smacker. One day it was driving me insane!!! To the point that my skin was crawling. We have Skype Messenger at work, and I messaged my co-worker and asked if he could hear it to. He said, “No, but now that you pointed it out to me I can and it is going to drive me crazy!!!” A few minutes go by and he messages me back and says, “You know, I blame you more than I blame her.” Haha. #oops #stopsmacking

–I keep forgetting that I have Snapchat. Sometimes I will go a week in between opening the app. Sorry. I am old, it is hard to keep up with all this social media!

–Once I have something in my head for lunch, I am all set. If that location changes, nothing sounds good to me. We were supposed to have lunch with my sister on Sunday at this little hole in the wall near my house.  Well, Chris looks up the menu Sunday morning and says “Ummmm they are closed Sundays.” Well shit! These people are from Philly and have a legit Whiz sandwich where they fly ingredients from Philly three days a week. They also have Philly style pizza, but that is neither here not there. I wanted my damn whiz sandwich and nothing sounded good the rest of the day. Not even Mexican. So you KNOW I was serious!!! #iwantwhatiwant

–On Monday I had baked beans for breakfast. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. #itwasdelicious

–If I had a dime for every time I grabbed my cell phone to do something but got distracted by a notification and forgot the reason why I was on my phone in the first place just to do it all again….I would be a rich, rich woman. #ADD

i get so bored with snap chat–as in snapping my life. i don’t want to bore ppl, you know? and some ppl have scores over 100,000–like how do they have the time to do that?

i can’t get the same way about restaurants when i have my heart set on something!!

Haha gum smackers are the worst! That and loud chewers. Like you’ll be sitting in a work meeting and that one person is eating like they are they a rabid wolf or something. Table manners people, table manners.

Amen to your memes!! Too funny! And gum smackers drive us crazy as well… and like your co worker, I blame my husband 😉 He is constantly pointing people out, “look at that girl chomping her gum like a freakin’ wildabeast!” ha ha! I have to admit that I really love snap, but probably because I’m just really obsessed with my kids. I have so many more videos of them on my phone now (most of them don’t even get posted to snap!) because of that dumb app, ha!

If anyone makes any kind of noise with their body I am immediately annoyed. Smacking, whistling, sniffling, some people even breathe and it annoys me. Oh snapchat… one of my favorite time sucks!

The phone thing has happened to me more than I care to admit – I got to text someone then quickly check my email and forget about the text!! Oh my gosh…the incessant coughing gets to me at work! xo, Biana-BlovedBoston

Hahaha — baked beans for breakfast. That sounds awesome. I mean, who doesn’t love a good baked bean? Ooo, did it have bacon in it? Because then it’s legit breakfast. Some people at work annoy me just by breathing.

Last bite closure is totally a thing. I tried snapchat and I’m bored with it. I’d rather just text people. Not gum, but wet mouth noises bug me. Luke licks himself all the time and that wet slurpy sound drives me up the wall. He’ll come sit next to me and start licking and I make him go back to his dog bed and do it there. Ha! My poor puppies – they have no idea why the weird humans do what they do.

Sad confession – my husband is a gum smacker. I had to finally quit carrying gum so he wouldnt use it anymore. Oh mercy – nerve wrecking!!!!!!

I just never tried the Snapchat thing – I cant keep up with everything as is – I dont want to add another thing I know will suck me in.

Oh man I couldn’t have baked beans for breakfast, yuck! I hate them haha! And Brian hates loud chewers and crunchers and smackers, he said it drives him crazy at work! He won’t even bring a snack of pretzels or chips because he doesn’t want to cause anyone else any annoyance lol

  • Reply Kelli April 13, 2016 at 10:36 am

I do that with my cell phone all the time, I also do it when I’m going to look up something online and get all distracted by social media.

  • Reply Andrea @ Living On Cloud Nine April 13, 2016 at 10:38 am

I’ve had baked beans for breakfast twice…cold right outta the fridge! So good! I so needed your confessions today, on my hotspot in the car traveling for grandmas funeral and this made me smile!!

Baked beans for breakfast…okay, I could maybe do that as I love me some delicious Bush’s Baked Beans, actually have them on the dinner menu tonight. 🙂

  • Reply Lily April 13, 2016 at 11:30 am

I can’t stand smackers in general! Yuck!
I always get distracted when I go to do something on my phone. LOL! Oh and I have to check my phone at least 3 times to see what time it is, because apparently the first couple of times I am staring at nothing. Hahaha!

hahah gum smackers. That’s hilarious, do adults still do that? 😀

  • Reply Jess April 13, 2016 at 12:16 pm

Haha I can relate to too many of these. I hate smacking of any kind. I had to move lunch tables once because this guy started sitting at mine and ate so loudly. And I definitely want the one food I have my mind set on and if I can’t get it nothing will taste as good. Greg has dealt with me hovering in indecision in a parking lot many times. My favorite salad place once closed for snow and there was nothing for it lol. Qdoba was the stand in but I wasn’t in the mood.

  • Reply Lindsay Latimer April 13, 2016 at 3:20 pm

I have a similar cube problem but she does it with chips. We’re all losing our minds! She also slams her keyboard and her phone ring is a horse… And it goes off all day. Omg. Some days you just have to eat beans for breakfast! Ha! And I do the same thing with restaurants. If it changes, I’m not happy!

  • Reply Dani April 13, 2016 at 3:31 pm

I had a gum smacker standing in line behind me last night and almost turned around and said something, but instead just turned up my headphones (yes, I heard the smacking OVER my music!) . Philly cheesesteaks w/ whiz is my favorite way to eat them! So cool that they fly in ingredients- they must be legit! But yeah, when I have something in my head that I want to eat, I have a REALLY hard time accepting anything else!

  • Reply Lauren @ Oh Hey! I Like That! April 13, 2016 at 4:40 pm

YASSSSS about the chips and salsa…I love them so much and then I hate myself so much once I’ve eaten like an entire bag of Tositos scoops.

  • Reply Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis April 13, 2016 at 5:07 pm

Oh no that sucks about the smacking coworker! We recently got a new employee that laughs like Beavis & Butthead! It was so f-ing weird but thankfully they moved him to another part of the building #creepy. I’m the same way with Snapchat….hardly remember to open the app when something exciting is happening.

  • Reply Mattie @ Northwest Native April 13, 2016 at 6:50 pm

Omg YES. If I have my heart (or mind) set on certain food and it gets changed I get so upset! Also I constantly pick up my phone and get distracted and have nooo idea why!!!

  • Reply texerinsydney April 13, 2016 at 8:36 pm

I’ll be back to confessing next week. I’ve already got a post in draft. Yay me!
That phone confession…I’m with ya. Same.

  • Reply Kate @ Green Fashionista April 13, 2016 at 8:48 pm

LOL at the gun smacker story, I have a similar problem at work except it’s the attack of the killer perfume. I don’t know how the people who actually sit next to this chick breathe! And I’m always craving Chic Fil A on Sundays, so I feel your pain!

  • Reply Duckie April 13, 2016 at 10:01 pm

Omg that gum smacking would drive me insane. The girl who sits next to me at work is constantly crunching on something and it is so LOUD! And I’m the same when it comes to food. If I have something set in my mind that I want to eat, nothing else will satisfy me until I get it.

  • Reply kristen April 14, 2016 at 11:32 am

i’m not kidding, i would ask that person to stop chewing their gum. i have done it before. it is so annoying and inconsiderate. you know i love the beans for breakfast 🙂

  • Reply Ashley @ The Wandering Weekenders April 14, 2016 at 7:20 pm

I’m not a baked bean fan, but I totally understand the need for something that’s not a breakfast! Brunch at Mexican places are the best because it allows me to eat chips and salsa before lunch time!
