Confessions

Hey there, Wednesday!!! It is time to spill all your secrets with Kathy and I!

–When I talk about a hard work out to a fitness badass, I feel like they are saying #butdidyoudie

–I haven’t looked at my fall goals in quite some time. So long actually that I forgot what they were. I sort of don’t care either. #slacker

–I have an obsession with looking at houses. Sometimes when I am looking for a distraction on the internet, I might browse a house or five in the area. I would blame HGTV for this, but I have loved looking at houses since I was in high school. It was the deciding factor that pushed me to decide on my major (real estate.) #reallifehousehunters

–I have to cut out tags out of so many of my shirts because I cant handle the scratchy feeling! #firstworldproblems

funny quotes of the day | Funny Pictures 1

–I have had my Christmas cards ready to go out for a week but they are still sitting on my kitchen table. Why? Because I hate going to the post office and I need stamps! I guess that is what I will be doing on my lunch break today. #sayalittleprayerforme

–Have you ever read an article about someone you know that was full of lies and you want to go to the magazine/newspaper and set them straight on the real truth?! #fakepeoplesuck

–This warm weather is beyond depressing you guys. I want to feel the Christmas magic so bad but I can’t because it is 70 degrees and hot as fuck. Normally I am Buddy Elf and fifty shades of giddy this time of year. Instead I feel like the Grinch before his heart grew three sizes. #dreamingofawhitechristmas (I would settle for one that was less than 60 degrees!!!!)

–When I hear about a new restaurant opening, I have to figure out an excuse to go immediately! The food blog makes a great excuse! #priorities

–My real life friends who know nothing of my blog are all texting me asking WTF is up with all my funny Barbie pictures on Instagram. Non bloggers just don’t understand!!! Β #youcantsitwithus #joinme

That first confession!!!! But did you die?!?! That was soooooo wonderfully perfect!

Why are ecards so awesome? I don’t know, but they are.

you got the linkup to work properly on your page!! yay!

sorry for making you fly solo today; work has been utterly ridiculous and i can’t handle it anymore…when it starts to interfere with blogging – esp confessions! – then you know work shit is gettin real.

LOL, I am always cutting off the tags from my clothes too. And the struggle with needing Starbucks — always real, friend. Always!

I hope the weather cools down and picks up on the Christmasy spirit ASAP!! Xo

Oh my gosh that last one is just hilarious!! I can see how the barbie pictures would be weird for people that aren’t bloggers…I’m still a little unclear on the prompt myself lol! Good luck at the post office today! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

I’m always cutting my tags out, they drive me crazy. I love when I find tagless shirts!! The struggle for Starbucks is real. Those funnies are hilarious. Happy Hump Day!

The ecard about dogs > babies. Yep yep yep. Also, it’s freaking “hot” in Ohio, too, and I hate it. Like, it’s been in the 40s and 50s (and sometimes 60s). How the hell am I supposed to sip coco when it’s so damn hot out?? Ugh.

  • Reply Michael December 9, 2015 at 9:44 am

Yes to EVERYTHING!!! I have 28 Christmas cards that need to be mailed out and I am absolutely dreading having to buy stamps for them, from Rite Aid no less. I hate buying stamps. Also, where oh where do you find all these eCards because they’re always spot on… like straight from my brain!

  • Reply Kelli December 9, 2015 at 10:10 am

I love house hunting! Usually I stay within our prospective budget but sometimes I like to see what I could own here if I won the lottery. πŸ™‚

  • Reply Laura @ Life with Lolo December 9, 2015 at 10:15 am

It’s creepy warm here in Idaho and I don’t like it. Which is totally hypocritical of me because I was whining two weeks ago when it was snowing. I just need the weather to make up it’s mind, that’s all. I also don’t know what the barbie pictures mean so I’ll have to get right on that. It looks freaking funny from your blog slider!

  • Reply Andrea @ Living On Cloud Nine December 9, 2015 at 10:17 am

You soooo fun-nay!!! My tag is bugging me right now, work bathroom, strip and cut, it’s a dress, lol!!! Where are you cold weather and snow???? Al Roker said this morning that stupid (my word) El NiΓ±o means no white Christmas!! Ugh!!! I’m gonna get a fake snow maker and concoct a blizzard!!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  • Reply SMD @ Life According to Steph December 9, 2015 at 10:28 am

I cut the tags out of pretty much everything I own.

  • Reply Kate @ Green Fashionista December 9, 2015 at 11:15 am

I loathe going to the post office, so I hear ya girl! You can always pick up stamps at the grocery store (that’s what I did) and then drop the cards in any mailbox πŸ˜‰

That first ecard is definitely me with a friend I know I need to phase out of my life.

My confession? I’ve crapped out on #inthedrawer. I’m a terrible, awful host.

  • Reply Rebecca Jo December 9, 2015 at 11:33 am

It’s in the 70’s here through the weekend & people are getting upset. I’m like, I’ll celebrate baby Jesus in shorts HAPPILY πŸ™‚ I want it to stay warm πŸ™‚ #sorry #notsorry πŸ™‚ haha

  • Reply Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis December 9, 2015 at 11:54 am

The weather is hot as shit here too…so strange for December!! Hope it cools down soon. I like cutting my tags off too.

  • Reply Jenna December 9, 2015 at 12:02 pm

What is that chocolate wonder? I need THAT!

Forget tags. Tags can be dealt with. The things that annoy me are those extra long plastic or fabric ribbons they put just inside the neck of a shirt to supposedly help you hang it up– even if it’ll hang perfectly fine on its own. The plastic ones are HORRIBLE, and I can never seem to get them cut all the way off, so there’s always a sharp, pointy end, and I can’t seem to find an adequate solution aside from just covering it up with a piece of scotch tape.

  • Reply alyssa December 9, 2015 at 12:42 pm

WHYYY are some tags so scratchy!? They never look like they’re going to be that bad but some of them are seriously terrible. It’s a constant battle with my shirts.

  • Reply Katie MacDonald December 9, 2015 at 12:43 pm

I too can get lost on zillow when I’m bored. I love stalking houses that are for sale that I drive by everyday and dream shopping. Praise tagless shirts. Why isn’t that a more common thing yet?! I’m so “lucky” that I don’t drive by any starbucks on the way to work, I’d be so poor.

  • Reply Lindsay Latimer December 9, 2015 at 1:20 pm

J is a broker so we spend LOTS of time looking at houses! We’re currently house-hunting, too, and I get lost for hours. It’s so fun pretending to afford the houses i want! πŸ˜‰ Um yes to the fake articles. That is a HUGE pain for me… and I feel like to a smaller degree, people do that on Facebook, too. Like I know you and your life… The weather is warm here, too, and I hate it! And I HATE going to the post office. I haven’t been in months, thankfully. It’s an actual fear!

  • Reply Jessica December 9, 2015 at 2:45 pm

Going to the post office is the worst but those Peanuts stamps are so worth it! And ugh, why don’t they just stop putting regular tags in clothing?!

  • Reply Stephanie December 9, 2015 at 3:35 pm

I hate clothes tags, I’ve never grown out of cutting them out. I read somewhere it’s a sign of intelligence when they bug you so much, so I’m going with that. Even if it’s made up πŸ˜‰

  • Reply Amanda Elizabeth December 9, 2015 at 3:55 pm

I have realtor.com currently open in one of my browsers…..so yeah I totally feel you on the real estate obsession πŸ˜‰

  • Reply Cara December 9, 2015 at 4:38 pm

Before we bought our home I would seriously look at homes online ALL THE TIME. To the point that once we finally did find “the one” it was strange to no longer look at the websites online anymore. Haha I think I had home-looking remorse. Also, I hate itchy clothing tags. I don’t understand why they can’t be made out of soft material.

  • Reply Kerry December 9, 2015 at 7:45 pm

Hope the post office wasn’t too painful. Are you still in real estate? That would be a fun career. I totally look at houses even though I already have one.

  • Reply Ashley @ The Wandering Weekenders December 9, 2015 at 9:50 pm

Ugh, this warm weather is killing me too! All I want is to be able to wear all of the cute scarves and boots, even though I know that I’ll be sick of them before long. And non bloggers really just don’t get it! Even my husband doesn’t get it, and he lives with me!

Oh my gosh the post office is the actual WORST. Especially t his time of year. I’ve been putting off going, too! lol

  • Reply Tracie December 10, 2015 at 9:02 pm

I want it to snow!!! Ugh, instead it’s going to rain this weekend, and fuck that noise! I hate the post office too and buy stamps in bulk when I go, then don’t use them for months and months.

  • Reply kristen December 15, 2015 at 10:39 am

lol yes every time i feel like a badass after my workout, i think of you getting up every single morning and kathy being a badass in general.

  • Reply Teh Megan December 18, 2015 at 11:27 am

I’m a mabillionty years late, but the heat is killing my Christmas mojo too.
Watching the “badasses” at the crossfit gym workout makes me feel like I should be on the front of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
RL vs Blogger friends and #inthedrawer made me lol. I actually shared the hashtag with someone who is doing the elf thing and she has no kids, she just likes to post dirty things on FB, lol. I told her she should participate.
The Christmas stamps this year are adorable. That made the pain of buying stamps much better!
