Confessions

–I had the best freaking time with my nephew at the pumpkin patch on Monday. Cooper and his little classmates are just so darn cute, and they were so excited about everything! #kindergartenersarecute

–I really wanted to bring home Brody the pig. We bonded. He totally begged me for pets and his little nose was going a mile a minute. #petnapping

–Turkeys scare the shit out of me….

That turkey was an ass and got his feathers in a ruffle when we walked up to him. I’ll see you on a platter for Thanksgiving you evil little bird. Just don’t talk to me about bacon, ok? #gobblegobblegobble

–I thought it was pretty funny to watch a lot of the little girls chasing after Cooper. Apparently, he is a real ladies man. This doesn’t surprise me at all, as he has had game since he was in diapers and I can see that my sister is going to have trouble on her hands big time with this one. #ladiesman

–I had my first PSL of the season last week. I didn’t love it. There. I said it. I know that they put “real pumpkin” in it or whatever this year. Perhaps I like the fake shit better? Or perhaps they just aren’t as good to me as they once were. RIP PSL memories. I shall stick to the Salted Caramel Mocha from now on. #needcaffeine #notsuchabasicbitch

–I have worn dresses all summer long. I did not put pants on a single time. Last week I pulled all my pants out to start wearing. They are all too big. This is normally a good problem, right?? Until you realize that you have to buy all new ones.  I think my actual body shape has changed. I am literally running my ass off. #baggyjeans

–Which brings me to the fact that I hate jeans shopping. Hate. Hate. Hate. Loathe. #firstworldproblems

What a fun day! Though I’ve heard before that turkeys can be mean, you definitely need to watch out for them! Congrats on needing a new pants wardrobe…and have fun shopping 🙂

Hahahah evil bird, see you at Thanksgiving! Hilarious!! Ugh, jean shopping. Don’t even get me started.

Ughhhhhh that turkey just looks mean! My sister has had the hardest time jean shopping lately! I think I just need to get on a plane and help you 😉

Turkeys are the worst! Well, maybe swans and geese are the worst, but turkeys are pretty bad, too. That’s awesome that your pants don’t fit! And sucky that you have to go jean shopping, but at least you can remember the reason why while you go!!!

  • Reply Stephanie October 7, 2015 at 9:38 am

I hate jean shopping too, I just stick with AE because I know it works! That pig is freaking adorable, I want one!

Dumb turkey! I am tickled pink that you had fun at the pumpkin patch with your nephew, I just knew you would and I’ll bet all those little kiddos looked up to the favorite auntie! Once again you have made my Wednesday morning with your funnies and I’ll take some life! Jeans shopping is the worst! It literally takes a whole day and I keep putting it off and off and off! Absolutely proud of you as can be though! I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and no turkeys getting your way! Gobble gobble.

I need to jean shop myself & dread it.
Just put on some sweaters & leggings/tights with those dresses 🙂

I love pigs… they are so smart too… which makes me sad for everyone who eats bacon

How adorable is that piggy! Glad you had a great time on the field trip with your nephew, and look at you go girl with your pants being too big – AWESOME! I live in dresses/skirts all summer too, and since it’s still warm here I’m mostly still wearing them as they’re way more comfy than pants 😀

Oh Brody is so cute. I totally would have wanted to bring him home as well. That’s great that your pants are too big!! Although, buying all new pants is no fun. I always have a hard time finding pants that fit well. Good Luck!

turkeys are terrifying!! i totally want a pet pig.

  • Reply SMD @ Life According to Steph October 7, 2015 at 12:38 pm

Too big pants are a good problem to have until they have to be replaced.

Birds in general are many times NOT NICE.

  • Reply Jana @ Jana Says October 7, 2015 at 12:49 pm

I don’t like PSLs at all. There. I said it.

    Turkeys are assholes.

  • Reply Laura @ Life with Lolo October 7, 2015 at 12:51 pm

I tried my first ever PSL last week and it made me sick. Not like majorly sick but like some notable trips to the bathroom and it was not ok. Plus holy expensive! I’d rather skip Starbucks at that price and stick to my little drive in huts. Basically I’m over the basicness of the PSL. Congrats on needing new pants. I totally get how that’s a pain but also so awesome at the same time! I’m the opposite though, I like jean shopping, and well shopping in general.

BACON! lol. i went to a fair last weekend and they had pigs and chickens and i shouted: DINNER! all the kids looked at me LOLOLOLOL.

  • Reply Kelli October 7, 2015 at 1:50 pm

I have a kindergarten farm field trip the end of October and I can’t decide if spending the day with Kindergartener’s is going to be fun or scary! Hahaha

  • Reply Heather October 7, 2015 at 1:53 pm

I think I’m scared of anything with wings or beaks…does a peacock have either? I’m scared of those too. Dude, new pants?! I hate buying pants too, but WTG!! I like wearing tights with my dresses during the fall/winter. I didn’t like PSL ever so I wonder if I would like it now, haha!

  • Reply Teh Megan October 7, 2015 at 2:44 pm

Jeans shopping is the worst because the same pair of jeans in a different color could be cut completely different and don’t even get me started on sizing in the US!! ugghhhh.. Nonetheless, YAY for seeing a difference and for being strong enough to wear a dress all summer. That commitment to leg shaving was something I couldn’t get behind and when I’m unmotivated, jeans with a not-t-shirt is about as dressy as I get.

  • Reply Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis October 7, 2015 at 3:28 pm

Cracking up at all the funnies! I do the same thing when shopping…I pick up everything and act like I have all the money in the world and then towards the end I have to do a process of elimination to stick with only things I really need.

  • Reply Jackie October 7, 2015 at 3:30 pm

After watching Teen Mom, Chelsea really had me wanting a little pig. They potty train and use a litter box like cats!

I agree with the PSL. It’s ok now.

  • Reply Erin LFF October 7, 2015 at 3:44 pm

I hate shopping for clothes in general… work pants and jeans are definitely the toughest though. Ugh- good luck! 😉 LOLd at the Grinch picture, another movie I quote reguarly!

  • Reply Lindsay Latimer October 7, 2015 at 8:47 pm

I bet your nephew thought that was the coolest thing! Being the cool aunt is the best thing ever! 😉 I have the opposite problem with pants which is why I never wear them… I can never get them to fit me in the ass! They’ll stick out in the waist but I’m busting out the butt. And yes to wine bars!

  • Reply Sophia Rodriguez October 7, 2015 at 10:30 pm

    Turkey’s scare me too! Ekkkkkk!
I hate shopping for jeans too, hate it so much!!
I looooovvvveeeee those ecards. The first one is so me! Haha.

  • Reply Kerry October 8, 2015 at 5:50 am

Pants too big is a good problem to have but costly. I am not a fan of the PSL either, caramel all the way.

  • Reply Amanda October 9, 2015 at 11:54 am

I like the new look around her! Fresh! 😀
Pants shopping in general is the ACTUAL DEVIL.
I almost got a pet pig when I was a kid. I’ve always wanted one. Still do!
