Confessions

–The internet at my office kept going in and out yesterday and I felt like I was a citizen of a third world country. It reminded me of the old dial up days. It also reminded me that I have zero patience for technology. #firstworldproblems

–Revenge is over. We watched the last episode on Monday night and I am not sure what will happen to my Monday now?! I feel sad that we will no longer have Nolan in our lives. I hate to admit it, but it was time for that show to end. I mean, where else were they going to go with it? Still, I always feel a loss when a great show ends. I am also sad that The Mindy Project was cancelled. #theyarefictionalletthemgo

–I saw someone tweet that they were so excited about the Bachelor or Bachelorette starting back up and I wanted to respond to them withย “LAME!!!”ย Because really….I can’t stand those shows. I know I am in the minority. #whocares

–Speaking of not caring for shows, you won’t see any tears shed here about the demise of American Idol. It ranย it’s course a long time ago. Does anyone even watch it still? #byefelicia #yourenotthenextamericanidol

–Sometimes when I hear a song for the first time, I think it is awful and it annoys the shit out of me when I hear it. Then….out of no where…I start liking it. Does this happen to anyone else? Uptown Funk comes to mind here. #butitscatchy #girlhityourhallelujah

–I have the hardest time finding the will to paint my nails. Why do they have to take so long to dry? Committing to an hour of not doing anything with my hands is too much for me. #patience

–Bloglovin is getting a big fuck you from me. All this week it hasn’t been giving me new updated posts from everyone and I have to “mark as read” myself on the posts it does give me. I started transferring stuff over to Feedly but it is taking some time. Sorry if I missed any of your posts this week. #fuckbloglovin

I’m in the minority with you on the Bachelor/ette thing and American Idol. #donotcare #realityTVsucks
I have the issue of hating a song then magically liking it (TSwift), this has not happened with Uptown Funk. I wish that song would die in a fire.
YAY FEEDLY! Although I had some issues with Feedly recently where some of my subscriptions were magically dropped and I had to refind them. I’m wondering now if it was just a larger issue with feed readers in general/some magical internet gremlin interrupting my first world life.

I heart Bruno Mars, I don’t care who knows it. I don’t know who that Mark guy is, all I see is Bruno. ๐Ÿ™‚ ALSO, this is my first time hearing about Mindy — you’ve officially ruined my Wednesday. Jokes, but only because you know I heart you and you keep me sane during the day.

When I first heard Revenge was ending I was a little sad but the reality was where was it gonna go? It was time to end and I think they did a good job wrapping it all up. Nolan should have his own show. I stopped watching American Idol years ago, it’s time to go. It’s been on way too long.

I’ve seen a bunch of people mention switching to Feedly and I thought that was funny, because I started on Feedly and moved to Bloglovin’ because that’s where everyone else was. ๐Ÿ˜› Right now Feedly is my “things I don’t comment on” and Bloglovin’ is my “actually interact with these people.” They have been kind of a pain, though.

  • Reply Paige @ An Uncomplicated Life Blog May 13, 2015 at 9:35 am

Seriously though, f bloglovin. They’re worthless.

  • Reply Joey May 13, 2015 at 9:41 am

Bloglovin’ has really been sucking this week. I wasn’t in love with it from the get go, but this isn’t helping any. I’m sorry, but I’m excited for the Bachelorette to start!! I watched revenge many years ago but haven’t been up to date in a long, long time.

  • Reply Julia @ Grace Makes New May 13, 2015 at 9:49 am

Yes Bloglovin’ is being so weird right now, what the heck?? I was wondering if I was the only one. I don’t care about The Bachelor/ette either! Never watched it, can’t imagine I ever will. I totally agree about American Idol, it’s past time for that show to be over!

  • Reply Mia @ MakeMeUpMia May 13, 2015 at 10:03 am

I’m with ya, see ya American Idol and The Bachelor & Bachelorette started annoying me about 10 years ago…

  • Reply Lindsay Latimer May 13, 2015 at 10:07 am

I am pissed about Mindy and really hope she gets picked up on Hulu. Aside from New Girl, it’s the only network show I watch! Also I HATE any of the Bachelors/Bachelorette series (never watched but not my thing) and am happy American Idol is ending. About time. Oh, Bloglovin. I’ve missed a ton of posts too and the issues have gone on TOO LONG.

  • Reply Biana Perez May 13, 2015 at 10:13 am

I was so sad to hear that Mindy was cancelled but I have a feeling that Netflix will pick it up – because how can you not!!! And then we can just binge on it!!! I actually think that this should have been the last season of AI…why is it still on lol! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

Oh you are not the minority with the whole bachelor thing. And what you should have replied back was #LAME – just to be current. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I haven’t watched Idol in years – but it has ran a LONG time.

I mourn the loss of your favorite shows. I shall burn a candle for you ๐Ÿ™‚

i’ve always hated bloglovin and have been using feedly since google reader was ripped from my arms. i like it much better than bloglovin!

i laughed so hard at the iphone whiny kids meme because it’s so true. i say that to kayla all the time: quit your whining about being bored! look at all your shit! do you want to know what i played with at your age? DIRT! that’s what i played with!!! (excluding the swearing of course)

  • Reply Stephanie May 13, 2015 at 10:32 am

I’ve never watched the Bachelor or Bachelorette. I just don’t get the appeal.
Bloglovin sucks, definitely go to Feedly! It does take a bit to get set up because most people don’t have the button like they do for Bloglovin. But it’s worth it in the end, it’s so much nicer.

  • Reply Laura @ Life with Lolo May 13, 2015 at 10:34 am

I give zero fucks about the Bachelor and Bachelorette too. Who cares! Those shows should have ended a while ago just like Idol. And FREAKING BLOGLOVIN don’t even get me started. It’s been a downward spiral all year and I’m so frustrated with it! I need to find a new feed platform.

  • Reply Jana @ Jana Says May 13, 2015 at 10:52 am

I don’t care about American Idol. I’m actually glad for it to go. #itstime I also don’t watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette because I just can’t bring myself to do it. Hulu is supposedly working out a deal to bring The Mindy Project to its service so you might not have to mourn it too much #goodnews

Your ecards are ON POINT today.

  • Reply Rebecca Jo May 13, 2015 at 12:30 pm

I need Nolin in my life still too!

  • Reply Kerry May 13, 2015 at 12:55 pm

Our internet was out for an hour and a half today. I had no idea what to do with myself! American Idol has totally run it’s course. I haven’t watched it in years. Bloglovin is getting the big old stink eye from me this week. So annoying. I am missing so much and then it just pops in three posts i missed!

  • Reply Brittany Pines May 13, 2015 at 2:35 pm

I am the same way with Bachelor(ette) shows & AI. I mean, I don’t even watch The Voice anymore (I liked it, but not like 8 hours a week)!

Bloglovin’ seems to be going downhill fast. I really need to switch to Feedly, that seems to be where it’s at.

  • Reply Melisa May 13, 2015 at 2:37 pm

I’m so sad about the Mindy Project being cancelled ๐Ÿ™

in other news, thank god American Idol is done. took long enough!

  • Reply Kristen May 13, 2015 at 2:43 pm

i didnt even know american idol was still on lol. no shits given about that or the bachelor/ette shows.
seriously bloglovin. what the actual fuck. how can they fuck up this bad? i started to move stuff over to feedly as well, but holy heck it takes time.
i do the same thing with songs ๐Ÿ™‚ and ugh i give up on painting my nails. seriously.

  • Reply Allison May 13, 2015 at 2:48 pm

Haha!! Bye Felicia to American Idol. I dont care about that show at all! But I am one of the annoying peeps who loves The Bachelor/ette. I just get way too hooked haha.

  • Reply Kate @ Green Fashionista May 13, 2015 at 2:54 pm

Bloglovin has officially jumped the ship for me, and I’m totally back to GFC. It’s been pissing me off for a few months now of course right when I started to like it. And I can’t believe American Idol was even still on, seriously who still watches it?! No Simon Cowell… no me ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Reply Andrea Nine May 13, 2015 at 3:09 pm

I grieve hard when my favorite TV series end. Thought I would with Revenge but it really was the perfect ending. Always wanted her with Jack and rumor has it, Nolan is getting a spin off. ๐Ÿ™‚ Ok, the bachelor series is ridiculously fake and I get tired of people who are addicted to it. But to each his own. People probably think I’m nuts for being addicted to New Girl and HGTV! Lol

I am incredibly miffed that The Mindy Project was canceled. It’s hilarious!

  • Reply Robin May 13, 2015 at 5:19 pm

LOL about being in the shower. I just realized how true that is!

  • Reply Kenzie @ CME May 13, 2015 at 7:53 pm

Oh my gosh, the same thing happened to me at work! When I got to work the phones and Internet were working just fine, then after about half an hour the phones went real fuzzy and then we couldn’t make any outgoing calls or understand anyone when they called in. Then our Internet completely went down. It took about three hours to fix, ugh. Also, Bloglovin’ isn’t marking my posts as read when I click on them and that annoys me so bad.

  • Reply B @ The Sequin Notebook May 13, 2015 at 11:16 pm

I’m a little sad about the end of Revenge, though I completely agree that it was time for it to be OVER. I was happy with how they wrapped up Nolan’s storyline…obviously he’ll be missed, but I thought the ending was a fun twist for him.

  • Reply HEATHER @ My Little HEA May 14, 2015 at 7:15 am

They could totally do a Nolan spin off, #yesplease! I agree I think it ended when it needed to. Also, not a fan of the bachelor. Last time I watched and loved it Ryan and Trista got married and I had to record it on my VCR. I tend to hate a song at first that everyone else loves and then end up liking it too!

  • Reply ellesees May 14, 2015 at 10:34 pm

don’t care for the bachelor or any of its spin-offs. it gives women a bad name and perpetuates stereotypes. i know many of them are hot messes, and that can be entertaining but come one! i don’t watch the hosuewivs either for that reason. i can’t even type it correctly. #anger

omg beyonce pad thai isTHE BEST THING i’ve seen. lol for REALZ

  • Reply Ralph Marion May 15, 2015 at 6:39 am

Don’t worry. You ain’t the only one who feels that way about American Idol and The Bachelorette. I’m glad that Idol is coming to an end. Been on WAY too long.

  • Reply Amanda May 23, 2015 at 8:58 am

I’m sad about Revenge, too. Although like you, I think it was time for it to be over. Probably a season or two ago actually. But I’m STILL going to miss it!!!
